The situation here in Quebec is fucking insane. First we had Coderre declare Montreal a sanctuary city this winter, when there were already people making the trek across the border. Everyone knew that as soon as weather permitted it and Trump said something that hurt feelings, that we'd have a fucking migration on our hands, and this fat son of a bitch did it anyway. So since Montreal is a sanctuary city, this means that even if they're illegals they get access to municipal services like schools and subsidized housing.
Quebec authorizes refugee claimants to sign up for welfare, and guess what's the first thing these niggers do, they sign up for free gibs of course.
We have zero control over these people. All we do is give them ID papers and a convocation date that will be pushed back for months. When we finally get around to deporting them (the law is pretty clear; these are economic migrants and don't fit any category in the Convention) they'll just disappear, and since Montreal is now a sanctuary city they'll just keep leeching gibs while there's nothing we can do about it.
A lot of pregnant women are coming in, obviously they're coming to get birth here and get instant status via fucking jus soli insanity. Not only that, but our schools are preparing for the influx of kids that are going to be attending, since there are lots of kids coming in too. And here's the kicker : thanks to bill 101 all these kids are going to be attending francophone schools. Here's the biggest, most devious lie by omission : these Haitians don't speak French.
In Quebec we're used to Haitians speaking French since we usually get the educated ones, so people are saying that it's not a big deal, we'll be able to integrate them. These are a ragtag collection that Obama allowed to temporarily stay in the US. Most do not speak French, they speak Creole. Their children speak Creole and English. This is probably one of the biggest non-francophone migration waves we've had since we gained control of our immigration policy. We're going to have a bunch of kids in our schools that don't speak the fucking language and we're going to have to spend even more money teaching it to them and catering to them to ensure they don't fall behind, not to mention the parents who don't speak it either.
A lot of people here are clamoring for the federal government to do something since the province can't do much more than take it up the ass. And of course they do nothing but sit on their asses and "discourage" people on social media. Honestly the only thing we can do at this point is bomb Montreal's bridges and let the island starve. We don't need that fucking dystopic hellhole where we're rapidly becoming a minority and where you have to communicate with hand signs half the time because immigrants don't want to fucking learn our language. Varies from province to province, but in general no because you have to show that you're attempting to work, finding a job and so on. Most provinces overhauled their welfare system back in the 1990's because as the quebecanon pointed out the haiti bullshit. The system is far more stringent then in the US, and there is no federal welfare system.
The real problem is that the illegal under-the-table bullshit is a far bigger problem in Canada. This is doubly true because natives can operate a business and be exempt from taxation, and funds can be funneled through the band's federal gimmie money.
