So last night I dream a really weird dream not connected to anything I know in any way.

The scene is 1940s 1950s, and two guys are preparing a body to be found. I'm looking through the eyes of one guy doing the body prep. We're not undertakers, but two guys covering up a murder victim that is going to be found. 'We' are being thorough. We discuss and decide not to leave the gloves with the body. We dressed him in a hat too. The victim is fitted with brown shoes, I remember the colour brown. Most of the rest of the dream is in black and white, but somehow connected to the 1970s in some way. My strongest memory of what I dreamt was the brown shoes we put on the dead guy.

…and then today I come across this post about some event I've never heard of. Ever. This Somerton man is the same age and appearance, and was found with brown shoes, but no hat (which was seen as unusual at the time) washed away in the sea, or blown away by wind? WTF??

There were two different gloves we could have left, one black the other a lighter colour like leather driving gloves(?), but decide not to. There was discussion about his shoes too, but most of the rest was straightforward.
