I love the idea of banning the lugenpresse. But there's a very big flaw with Trump creating strong libel laws, and when I saw what it is, I think a lot of people will realize how obvious it is.
Those laws will effect us 10 times more than they'll effect CNN. Look at the shit they're pulling with the Dailystormer, Anglin is a shill, but they always pull these legal games. These organizations like the ADL have infinite resources for their legal team, while money is scarce on our side. Just imagine what monstrosity will be rolled out of congress. The danger with these laws is that you're letting the government decide what is "true" and fining people for saying things contrary to that. Websites that say "Jews did 9/11" will be shutdown due to outstanding legal fees. But the lugenpresse hydra can probably foot the bill even if they lose. Seeing Hulkamania run wild all over Gawker was amazing, but it's very likely that strong libel laws would effectively be capitulation of any serious alternative media. /pol/ would be safe, since websites aren't personally responsible for what users say, but there'd be a snowball's chance in hell of getting a somewhat credible website going.
