They must have finally got the memo about Gen Z. Read between the lines here. They aren't outright endorsing them, they sprinkle in some truths about how they use violence and property damage/rioting to achieve their ends. They tantalize disillusioned youth on the left with the idea that Antifa is doing what establishment left "refuses" to do, and rationalize it at the end with a nice little wrap up about how Antifa is fighting duh nadzees and riots to "shut them down where they are" It's almost as if CNN is try to subtly say "if you believe in leftist principles but don't want to play by the rules, here's another option!"

I don't think they'd actually support Antifa. They just want to babble about "muh privilege" and "muh white nationalists" to get better ratings and Antifa was easy to mention as an "anti-neo-nazi" group.

I would bet that these very wealthy (((individuals))) who run and work at CNN wouldn't want to lose their power because they got their means of production and distribution seized by Antifa. They, as you know, are not just violent SJWs but weird hyper egalitarian counter-intuitive commies.
