Oh fucking hell. I didn't even realise. The OP of this thread did not include the full instructions. Tox is not safe if you add anyone without protection. Groups are generally enough. TOR is sufficient but slow, I'd recommend using a VPN.
Using Tox is as bad as posting on 8ch/pol/ with a naked IP, but groups are more secure because it's based off of a P2P protocol, pinning an IP down to a specific user is extremely hard in a large group.
