I think that someone killing a wonderful member of the jewish community would be a tragedy!
That said, here's a story.
If someone was going to attack this man/his compound, it would need to have multiple elements. I can think of two ways right off the bat on how to do it: slowly infiltrating and killing the man via poison/cyanide or brute forcing your way in by using mass to overpower the defenders. The first option would take too long for someone with malicious intent to do, and has a high chance of failure due to a wide variety of factors. The other choice is more realistic, but still dangerous enough to basically be a suicide mission.
I'll discuss the second choice due to its greater chance of success. Basically, you'll need 200~400 men (with more men, a greater chance of success). A company sized element, with a weapons platoon (in charge of higher caliber MGs), three regular infantry platoons, and a special artillery squad to provide arty fire.
The equipment needed would be:
81mm/60mm mortars, or some improvised version thereof
Rocket based artillery (Rack mounted in back of pickup bed or backpack carried variant) for massed artillery
RPGs/LAW (anti-structure/anti-vehicle)
Several .50BMG machineguns (anti-material support)
100 pounds of plastic HE (Semtex/C4) or a field expedient explosive variant with similar explosive impulse
Several GPMG at the platoon level to provide cover fire during assault and potential retreat
A weapon (AR/AK and some specialized weapons for breaching/clearing/marksmen) for each infantry man, along with Level III+/IV armor plates for each one
M203/GP-25 grenade launchers
Hand grenades
CS/OC grenades (GL launched and thrown)
Flashbangs and breaching tools
Medkits for all direct-fire personnel, properly equipped/trained medics
Transportation (depends on plan of attack) I would prefer old check cashing vans for personnel transport (relatively cheap armored vans on the used market) along with technicals for support.
IEDs and bombs for exfil/distraction/sealing off routes of counter-attack by LE.
The total cost for all of this will probably be close to $150k~$200k after all is said in done. However, a lot of this equipment isn't necessary if its a suicide mission.
Necessary intel (assuming we know he's home):
When do guard shifts change?
When do police change shifts?
How long does it take police to respond?
Radio Frequencies to jam/disrupt during operation.
What does the local police/national guard have at its disposal?
How does the target move?
What kind of firepower does Soro's goons possess?
The plan is straightforward, and should not last longer than 3~4 hours:
Starting at 11:00pm
A recon team is sent in to help spot/guide artillery fire on areas of interest (helicopters/planes/armored vehicles are of the highest priority, in order to avoid target escape)
Infantry teams start moving to predetermined staging areas for attack
Artillery is staged/loaded/and targeted
11:30pm (during guard change over)
Radio frequencies are blocked out/jammed
Utilities are disconnected/sabotaged
11:45-12:00pm
Artillery bombardment begins of per-selected targets. Police/National guard are alerted Distraction IEDs are detonated to divert police response.
12:20pm
Tactical teams blow down front gate and enter in armored vehicles under HMG/Sniper cover.
They approach the front door and, using rocket launcher, breach. One infantry platoon begins to clear house, while second provides street control, and third enters from the back of property. Local police arrive and encounter heavy weapons fire from second platoon and are quickly overpowered. Arty lays down pain as required.
12:40pm
Raid is in full motion. Mansion is under total siege from all angles. Full on tactical response by state/local authorities. Soros is killed unless there is a safe room.
1:20am
Soros should be dead by this time. Exfil/evac of all combat personnel via armored vans.
Final seizure of important electronic equipment/important documents/valuables
Third and first platoons link with second platoon to provide a combined assault on whatever LE/Mil force has been dispatched.
Arty provides final cover fire and disbands.
IEDs are used to allow escape of infantry.

Federal and possible military response if forces haven't escaped/died/captured. Certain death/capture from this point on.
