Video was 41 seconds long, black and white surveillance footage from some building overlooking a parking lot and street behind it (presumably also pointing towards the airport where the crash occurred). All that could be seen was a massive explosion in the distance through some trees. Meanwhile a couple vehicles passed by the camera heading left.

You have one very brief much brighter flash that is completely atypical for a fireball, then a few moments later you have the light from the fireball that is not as bright and much more drawn out.
A fireball large enough to be as bright as the first light is would have lasted for several seconds and not been a bright flash. Compare it to the actual fireball despite it being much less bright it lasts several times longer. In fact it hasn't even burned out when the sequence ends.

The only thing that is bright is the fireball of the fuel and that does not just suddenly become blindingly bright only do disappear a fraction of a second later. It's not how fireballs behave, but it is the typical light signature of a detonation.

There are plenty of video of plane crashes. There are no detonations as the aluminum is way to thin to act as any kind pressure container and is torn open by the crash forces anyway.
What happens is the majority of the jet fuel floods out and is ignited, creating a very large rising ball of fire which gives a stable light lasting over several seconds. The brightness of the fireball is related to its size as oxygen is the limiting factor in the combustion and surface area determines how much oxygen is involved. As volume increases at double the rate of surface area it will also take a larger fireball significantly longer to burn off.
It therefore makes no fucking sense at all the a brighter fireball should just come and the dissipate in a flash while a much dimmer one should linger for seconds. For a kerosene fireball to dissipate that quickly it needs to be tiny, yet the light is absolutely blinding. This is not how a fireball behaves.
It is however exactly the kind of behavior you see in a detonation of a moderately fast explosive.
Also the images in >>5456377 and the video in >>5456754 look nothing like typical airport crashes, as those happen at relatively low velocities. Usually the plane is practically intact, although often partly consumed by fire, but this one is just shredded to the point where you can't see any feature of it.

You can dismiss it as the landing lights but it sure looks like they're on fire. That bright flash also looks very odd, especially since you see the expected fire slowly rising up and getting brighter long after it is already gone. It looks more like ordnance hitting to be honest.

by looking RGB values of the video, we can determine the source of the emitted light.

So, no, it seems you are the one failing to understand that regardless of the way the camera is set up, as long as the sensor absorbs light, anyone can compare the intensity values supplied by the camera to known absorption and reflectance values emitted by any given object to determine composition of the light source.
