Im not sure on the exact numbers, but it seems that the JF is starting to get around 7th or 8th place of nationwide newspapers now with their 35-40k sales.
The next highest are between around 70k to 300+k up to the biggest tabloid with 2+ million.
Although there's also a ton of local newspapers with 100+k sales.
It's not a victory by any means, but at the very least the JF is a rightwing newspaper and you can bet on those 35-40k people actually reading and thinking about it, while a large percentage of those other newspaper sales are from people just being used to having a newspaper in the home or it being free or reading it for sports and VIP news or some shit.
Still, I wouldn't really celebrate it, just happy that the biggest offenders are going down slowly.

As an American, I can promise you, only some Americans are tuning out of the traditional news media because the internet is better. Most of them are doing it because the media lies and distorts the truth, and everyone knows it, and over time, people get sick of it and drop it. It's a question of how high your personal tolerance for bullshit and outright propaganda is.
The press and media have no idea the grave they've dug for themselves. They've blamed the internet exclusively for their plummeting sales, when in reality they themselves are mostly to blame for selling propaganda and media instead of news and information.
Most people I know don't bother watching the news channels for their information anymore, and only the elderly or the dyed in the wool habitual read the daily paper.
Trump attacks the media as a talking point, but really, he doesn't even have to. They're already dead in the minds of the people. They're just so disconnected from reality that they haven't realized it yet. It's low-hanging fruit, to mock the newscasters for being biased, or the media personalities for being imbeciles.
