Don't know if many of you have seen yet, but if you turn on the MSM, you'll notice that there has been a resurgence in using an older connotation of the word 'Stump'

If the phrase is being repeated a lot, it's for a reason. Remember "soccer moms," "lockbox," "angry white males," "road map to peace," "religion of peace," "voodoo economics," and a thousand other dumb little phrases they repeated again and again for weeks like parrots? They do it because it works. Stupid shit like that gets stuck in people's heads, and it influences their votes. "Can't stump the Trump" is like that. It's dumb, but it's fun, and it works.

It's catchy, it's fun to do, and as stupid and content-free as it is, it gets in your head and makes you want to like the subject.
