A logical person wouldn't dismiss an idea due to the opinions of the person who argues that idea, bur rather dismiss an idea if the logic or sources are flawed or unreliable. From what I've skimmed through, their research looks reliable. Also, their idea concurs with other very reliable sources such as scientific journals and scholarly research. So if someone tried to dismiss them, this argument will easily flaw that person. Therefore, it is an excellent citation.
