I do occasionally fear that my hubris is lacking any concrete basis and is a false hope caused by biased perceptions which resulted from browsing pol too frequently, but then I remeber that heresy is punishable by death. That's a tough one. Tyrants and strongmen sometimes step in after lines of weak kings and rulers, because the people and conditions demand it. It is not always successful though.

He didn't just appear. He identified some of the basic problems decades ago. But since he liked the life he led, he held back from entering politics and instead played a supporting role for others who might have been able to do the job. It was only after seeing them fail and finding no one else who was up to the task that Trump decided to take it upon himself to Make America Great Again.
