Miguel Serrano is really great and I like his work very much. But he made a couple of mistakes which he began to notice near the end of his life. Or maybe he did it on purpose because the time was not right to spill the bean. Julius Evola experimented with drugs and found that they could have spiritual worth in a ritual setting. Oddly enough he also said this about opiates and the dream-state they bring. What is your opinion on this?

In Ride The Tiger he mentioned that such a setting can seldomly be found in the modern world and so the usage of these substances is worthless most of the time, but he did not cast it aside entirely and made a few positive comments regarding the theoretical use of opiates as mentioned above.

On one hand it seems weird to me that he would dabble in opiates of all drugs, on the other dreams are definitely something taken seriously by Jung and Evola himself. Psychedelics were still young back then, but I would be interested to hear Evola's opinion on them.

Just finished Metaphysics of War which I thought would give me a good enough framework to jump into Hitler the Ultimate Avatar and after even a few pages while I am highly intrigued by Serrano's writings I feel more much more in over my head than I did reading Evola. I understand the blood memory and the metaphysics on a conceptual level but I am unfamiliar with many of the mythos which are referenced. The HTUA book in the Preface says to read The Lightning and the Sun first, so that's what I'm doing, but I must admit if feels more like a chore to read than a joy as I felt even with just a few pages of Serrano.

I have a great amount of .pdf books in my Android phone and I have read books via my phone a lot.

I recently read Serrano's book NOS and last night I tried to open the file once again to check some things from there and a notificication suddenly apperead on the screen "cannot open the file. the file is corrupted or broken" and it won't open in Acrobat Reader nor any other pdf-file open program. Then I tried to open other books like Evola's books and dozens of others and the same notificiation keep appearing. Then I thought that maybe restarting the whole phone could solve the problem. I restarded the phone and went to the folder where all those pdf-books were and I noticed one particular folder was vanished and dozens of books vere vanished from the main folder too. And the books that were left were all now converted 5,0 Kilobytes of size, although before the books have been like at least 10 megabytes.

Hey OP, do you have read the book "The Morning of the Magicians" of Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier?

For me it's a great great book by two erudites. The evolution of the "thought", secrets of matter, alchemy, nuclear race, dark magic, parapsicology, the WWII and Hitler… all beatifully linked and bounded.

This is one of my all times favorite books, because it's  not cheap occultism and essoterism; all the topics are very grounded and backed up by two powerfulls and (mostly) objetive minds; and plus, it's fantastic and very real and same time, like discover new worlds inside this one. Mindblowing.

The second part of the book is devoted to The Nazi, and the esoteric roots of the Thule Group, de Vril Society, the Golden Dawn, The Black Order And  inner circle of the SS.

I recommend read the book from the begginning to get in the "mood" and rythm of the authors.

Don't be discouraged for the pity lame design of the covers. I promise you, the book is worth reading.

I respect Serrano's opinion, especially because the books attributed to Nietzsche certainly contain Aryan elements. But we have much more opportunities for research now and there is a lot of progress being made in regards to finding the truth.
