Come simulate politics on autismcraft! This is an experiment to determine what political ideal will result in a group dominating other nations, based on how successful their ideology turns out to be. Players can create a faction and compete against others or go solo and play normally. Normally this game is just placing blocks and autism, but we've modified the server with survival plugins that allow us to configure just about every aspect of the game for the political system.
The server is running Minecraft version 1.8.#, piratefags will have to download a new launcher off the general info pastebin below;

Note: New players will be prompted to register, to do so type '/register randompassword randompassword' - this will confirm you into the server, henceforth each time you log in you will type '/login randompassword'.
We are now running an Earth Replica map, complete with accurate GPS coordinates and a converter
This allows you to take the real GPS coordinates of a location on planet earth, and convert them into accurate coordinates within our mine-craft map. More-over, you can now enjoy real places such as Moscow, Berlin, Rome, and America.

Shilling this Rust server we've been having a good time on. It's a lot like autismcraft in terms of raiding structures and having groups to maintain bases, except it doesn't play like supreme ass and is much more realistic in terms of what you'd expect in a survival game. The player or players can make their own space-ships to fight or mine or carry other ships, etc.
People make their own space bases where they do whatever they want like making it into a mining base, making it into a giant carrier for spaceships.

Server Reset Information, Changelog, and New Policies
Starting soon I will be taking over as admin for the server. Things will carry on more or less as usual, and besides me being added as an admin no other new admins will pop up for the time being. On April 2nd the server will reset to a new map and a number of gameplay changes will be introduced. These changes are not set in stone but to begin with we will try them as see how things go.

We had an assload of villagers, shops about to open and things. I was hoping to make this city greater than Corinth. The city wasn't even done yet, but Calltowar decided to continue the legacy that nothing good may exist. If he's ever taken care of, I suppose I could try to clean up the mess. I don't know.

The population of earth is 7,399,156,989 people.
The area of the earth is 510 million square kilometers or 5.1×108 km2.
The size of one minecraft block compared to the real world is 1m wide and long.
So lets change the scale of the surface area of the earth estimate to be m2 instead of km2.
We now have a minecraft world that is 510000000000000m2 and 510000000000000m2 minecraft blocks squared.
However the number of people on earth is sadly nowhere near the number of people who go on /polandcraft/.
The population density of earth is 510000000000000m2 / 7,399,156,989 or 68,927 m2/ per person.
After asking Milo he told me that at the servers peak we had 75 people playing overall on weeks.
Now we assume the new map achieves more success than this map and has around 100 people playing on it most of the time.
Now using this assumption we can find out the ideal area of the new map by doing 68,927x100= 6,892,700 m2.
Square rooting this number will reveal to us how wide and long the map should be if it was a perfect square.
√6,892,700= 2625.39
So the ideal /polandcraft/ server map should be 2626 x 2626(rounding up).

Due to the heroic actions of HJS forces consisting of Osama_Bin_Laden and Bc_Bob_Cuck, the rapidly expanding Hispa faction that threatened to overrun our gracious server with beaners has bean defeated.
After Osama discovered the base in southern Japan. He called on Bob to help him raid the base.

On December 26, 2015, a faction coalition of USA, Latvia, STALKER and HDKK attempted an attack on SPQR. The diamond-clad warriors surrounded the water-veiled autism tower and began an assault of cobble monstering and TNT cannoning - even bringing out a wither at one point. Despite this, to no one's surprise, their raid was a catastrophic failure.

Sir Willingham woke up naked and tied spread eagle on a bed. Blindfolded and ballgaged, he could do nothing more than pull at the leather straps holding him in place. He smelled rosey cologne that seemed to be getting stronger and stronger as footsteps came closer. He practically jumped out of his skin when a warm hand rested on his chest.
"Shh, take it easy, boy. I won't hurt you."
He struggled even harder, and another hand stroked his silky blond hair.
"Relax, you're safe here. Don't hurt yourself trying to resist. I'm going to take good care of you."
He calmed down a little and felt the hands move towards the lock of his gag. A second later and the wet gag was removed.

The gag was back in his mouth.

So a couple of ideas have fallen into people's heads this week. We all know minecraft itself is getting pretty boring, as is the server and it may be time for something new. Previously Hudson and some of us were very into rust, but rust is still in a similar vein.
Additionally, part of the reason the old polandcraft servers did well was because there was a community skype for them and that made things alot of fun. But skype was never really practical.
What I would like to consider doing is the following:
1.
We have a polandcraft Mumble now thanks to milo. We are going to get some channels added to it so that people can use it to play games besides just minecraft and have places to go on it for that.
We may in future do a TeamSpeak 3 server in place of this but for now we are gonna try and improve the existing mumble because it's paid for.
2. GMOD
Credit to uristmcronin for this idea but here is the deal. So most of the multiplayer Gary's Mod servers are shit because they all and I do mean ALL got taken over by sjws over the last few years and reddit cucks.
If someone was to make say, a politically incorrect gmod server with very few rules, it could be enormously popular. For those who don't know about gmod read the wikis about it, its basically a sandbox for valve's source engine, and you can make all sorts of neat modes of gameplay like zombie survival apocalypse ect within the sandbox for your server.
So this would be the second larger idea, is that maybe instead of a newer larger server when blade returns after december, we take our resources and use them for a politically incorrect Gmod server.
I would like to see what people think about these ideas so this will be stickied for some time.

Alright, cucks, we've been at this for three years and I've been here to see almost all of it. Having attempted at various points to institute reform, I think that it is possible to have an ideal /Pol/andcraft.
The Problems
1. Raiding is easier than PvP. Instead of building a society or a military unit, lone wolves and gangs of thieves are rewarded at the expense of people who actually create communities
2. Relatedly, vaults are effectively impenetrable due to the way the factions plugin works
3. Due to alts and play-once-and-quit types swelling the ranks of factions, it is indeed possible to make an impenetrable vault, or at least one that is effectively so. Chainsaw (and I) have claimed otherwise, but trust me, if you make a vault at bedrock in the world corner and have 20 people, it is out of range of any hybrid TnT cannon, making it invincible
4. Due to teleportation, secret bases and inaccessible skybases and vaults are easy to do and quite viable.
In short, due to the way the plugin protects land and claims, raiding is emphasized at the expense of actual PvP and military tactics and invincible vaults are create-able.
The Solutions
1. Eliminate the factions plugin entirely. This has been forwarded a million times but never carried out. There would be certain drawbacks, but it is possible to do. Replace it with Citadel and namelayer, a system of chat and block reinforcement. What is reinforcement, you ask? Well, each block can be reinforced at the cost of three different materials. When reinforced, it will take 'x' breaks of the block to make it actually drop. Stone reinforcement takes 30, iron takes 250, and diamond takes 1800. This also locks doors and chests and only moderators on the group can bypass the reinforcement to get it back. I would recommend nerfing the amount that diamond protects by a pretty significant amount. This solves the problems of invincible vaults and allows a balance to be struck. A big vault can't be broken quickly, but anybody with a good enough pickaxe and a few friends can do it. This also eliminates (finally) the problem of alt-raiding vaults or at least makes it harder to do without teleportation.
2. The lack of teleportation will encourage the development of actual trade routes, roads, and nation-states, which will effectively simulate political systems. No such thing as apolitical when you have borders to defend.
3. Realisticbiomes and ore veins: essentially make ores rarer (to make building megavaults harder) and allows certain things to grow in only particular biomes. This will encourage the development of actual trade and economies, where players claim and defend territory and control access to certain resources.
In short, take the best of North Pol's development suggestions and Civcraft's plugins, combine it with /Pol/andcraft's faster paced community, smaller map, and political roleplay and you've got a good start on making this server about actual politics, PvP, and communities, rather than a bunch of assholes raiding some vault with a wither in the middle of the night.

I have a bit of an issue with the texture pack. It doesn't seem to be working right…

Does anyone who played on dusty's server last year remember the name of the plugin he used to make the warps to different worlds? There was a warp to a Swamp-themed world, which had huge trees, villages inside hollowed-out trees, and spider nests, and sometimes you could be damaged by mosquitos. There was a snow biome that required torches, fire, or warmth to get through, and a desert biome that need water to get through. I thought it was a Star Wars plugin, but I'm not sure of the plugin name. Bls help, I want to link to it in the plugin recommendation thread but don't have any links to it.
