STRUCTURE OF GOVERNMENT
-An active hereditary veto monarchy combined with national republican democracy.
-The monarch can veto any legislation and guards and interprets the constitution, but cannot issue legislation, except to declare war, and is the commander in chief in case of revolt against the system.
-National legislation is handled by the senate and they convene only once a month to propose adding new national laws, and any of these can be vetoed by the monarch.
-Only 10 new laws can be proposed per month per party.
-The monarch can call the meeting of senate at any time otherwise.
-The legislature is unicameral, and the voting system works off proportional representation, with a general election coming once every four years, winning them seats in the senate.
-A cross-party supermajority of 75% can override monarchical vetos.
-A cross-party supermajority of 90% can change the constitution.
-On the level of states, there is some autonomy; they must obey the rights laid down in the constitution (such as slavery being banned), but they can set some policy themselves, and this is decided by semi-direct democracy and referendums, managed by governors appointed by elected parties.
