While I think we can all agree that the United States spends way too much on it's military, underfunding the military is suicidal in my opinion, especially in a nation with considerable natural, technological, and human resources that the rest of the world would love the opportunity to exploit. Instead what we should be doing is moderate funding (say 100 billion a year instead of 800 billion), strong anti-air and anti-sea systems on our coasts, actual cyber-security, improved public infrastructure, and stop intervening in foreign countries. The US is sandwiched between two oceans so as long as their coasts are well defended no one would stand a chance of invading. Our main (foreign) threats imo are hacking due to how insecure our systems are, sabotaging of our aging public infrastructure, and an EMP attack (.

It seems like you're socially liberal/libertarian, but aren't applying your principles consistently. While I think most of us can agree that transsexuals have a gender identity disorder and are typically insecure and have low self-esteem, all signs of poor mental health, but not giving them the same rights as others is fairly hypocritical. Allowing the state to define who is or isn't mentally ill and force or coerce them into "treatment" is a very slippery slope (and would be abused). What qualifies as a mental disorder is constantly expanding. Also, why is abortion regulated by states/cities while other issues regarding civil liberties are regulated by the federal government?

That's what I was asking. I'm curious how you make make a country or society like you described and have it stay that way without a government or some form on control structure. You have a lot of rules but no way of enforcing them.

A mixed economy. Economy is to be a self-sustaining a possible. State controls vital industries (water, electricity, oil,weapons manufacturing, gold and silver mining). Taxes are progressively higher the richer someone is. The top 20% are not beneficiaries of free healthcare, and their education is only partially subsidized.
