Debate's tomorrow, and seeing the Trump thread on the front page, figured I might as well kick something off.
THE CONTENDERS
Hillary Clinton, former First Lady, frequent senator, and current Secretary of State. Known for being one hell of a warhawk, but also for being a woman, and therefore the best bet for feminist liberals.
Bernie Sanders, former governor of Vermont and long-running House representative. Notable for being the only representative in the entire legislative house that's a self-proclaimed socialist. Of course, that means that he's the only candidate ballsy enough for direct anti-corporate rhetoric, which he can do because he's mostly financed by unions. He's also populist in every conceivable way. Basically, he's a bizarro Trump.
'''A bunch of other people", among them Joe Biden, current VP, and Jim Webb, journalist and soldier. They aren't really taking the spotlight the way Sanders and Hillary are. Feel free to discuss them too, though, as well as any others!
Attached are the current pollings. As you can see, Hillary has been trending sharply down and Sanders (as well as Biden, to a lesser extent) has been trending sharply up.
