Africa Addio is very bad Red pill material for the sole virtue that it hails from the same Genre where that brought the fake and gay movie Faces of Death into the world. A slightly better one from the same Era is Cannibal Holocaust when it comes to violence.

Yeah, but the footage from Africa Addio seems to be mostly real. It's got some of the only known footage (if I'm recalling right) of the Zanzibar massacre, for example, and it also deals with the Mau Mau Uprising. You just have to take it with a grain of salt and realize that some of it was probably staged or edited (I do remember reading that the original sounds were dubbed over to sound more appropriately cinematic).

Cannibal Holocaust, on the other hand, was a complete hoax ("Cannibal Holohoax," amirite?), although it was filmed with real Indians cannibalism was a known occurrence among South American Indians. Incidentally, Cannibal Holocaust was inspired by Prosperi and Jacopetti's mondo flicks, and both Africa Addio and Cannibal Holocaust feature music by Riz Ortolani.

Yes. The entire staff had to prove it in court after the director was prosecuted for murder, because he has allegedly filmed a snuff movie. The entire mondo genre was tightly connected. I was refering to the actual content. Still no documentary.

Thanks for posting these. I didn't even know any of this. Frankly I was getting tired of /pol/'s "redpills" which amounted to nothing more than holocaust denial and furthermore pinning all bad things on Jews, largely unexplained. I can accept to skepticism about holocaust numbers though since you can simply cite demographics that are publicly available.
