Trump: My immigration plans would have prevented 9/11

Trump is a fucking clown. Instead of growing some balls and calling Bush for ignoring all the warnings he received from intelligence agencies*, he tries to make it about immigration.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_11_attacks_advance-knowledge_conspiracy_theories#Intelligence_warnings

"August 2001 – The United Kingdom is warned three times of an imminent al-Qaeda attack in the United States, the third specifying multiple airplane hijackings. According to the Sunday Herald, the report is passed on to President Bush a short time later."

"March 2001 – Italian intelligence warns of an al-Qaeda plot in the United States involving a massive strike involving aircraft, based on their wiretap of al-Qaeda cell in Milan"

bdc809 No.562

>inb4 what could have Bush done?

Force airlines to lock cockpits for at least warn them about this. That's the absolute minimum.

>Next week, he added, "Mr. Trump is probably going to say that FDR was around when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor."

>"I mean, literally, talking about Syria saying 'ISIS should take out Assad, then Russia should take out ISIS' as though it was some kind of board game and not a serious approach is just - this is just another example of the lack of seriousness," Bush said.

Oh Jeb.

>>561

While the move was pretty brilliant, it got Jeb to buckle down and defend W, I don't see how Trump's immigration plan would have even come close to stopping 9/11

I thought this dumbfuck was trying to distance himself from his brother, so yeah Trump gets points for making him defend him.

Jeb Bush: Trump's 9/11 comments prove he's an 'actor' in candidate's clothes

He made a new anti-trump ad:

Well, to be fair, I don't think Trump would've done the inside job. :^) vid related. 9/11 in 5 minutes.

That's a decent video. Who's the black guy "who doesn't exist"?

676b38 No.620

>>617

I'm not actually sure. I just stumbled across the video. I wasn't really looking for something like this, and I had always accepted the official story before. The vid makes some convincing arguments though I think.

While the intelligence warnings were an issue, the fact that the USA is one of the most lenient in terms of letting every kind of subhuman trash from the middle east and the third world enter this country - that is an issue as well.

So Trump was not wrong in bringing this up

We literally have stricter requirements than most developed nations.

256f97 No.625

>>622

We have fairly strict legal immigration requirements

d22c94 No.635

This further cements my lack of trust in Trump. His stance on immigration is not actually his own, so much as he is trying to garner support (hence why he never brought it up during 2012). I doubt he has plans to do anything, and if he does, it will be done poorly.

If only the rest of the presidential candidates weren't such shit. Rand has thrown away his principles and Webb doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting the nomination. At least Trump has his anti-TPP stance behind him. Were I American, that may be enough to make me vote for him, just barely though.

>>622

The U.S. has decent immigration requirements.

And he was completely wrong. Not in that saying immigration should not be an issue, but 9/11 has nothing to do with immigration.

>if he does, it will be done poorly.

That alone is the kicker right there, I'm likely going to vote Trump, but if he does become President, he'll have a rough 4 years of both Democrats and Republicans fighting everything he tries to do

That's because immigration is the one and only issue that needs addressing. We are literally on the verge of losing our great nation if 3rd world immigration is not halted and reversed.

Trump is the only candidate that understands this.

Yesterday, I was watching CNN to see what the MSM is selling nowadays, and Dana Bash (the horse-faced anchorwoman) brought this up. Isn't this uncommon in MSM? I was kind of shocked.

no, I'm not June

>Trump is the only candidate that understands this.

But he supports legal immigration, which in reality is a far bigger issue than the illegal immigration. Just considering legal immigration, European Americans will be a minority well before 2040

079251 No.799

>>785

If he was against legal immigration, he wouldn't say it. He wants his plan to look moral, "we will deport illegals and after that they can apply to enter legally". How else could he counter all the questions about breaking family apart, deporting illegals who are law abiding, have been paying taxes and living for decades, ..etc

4d3d25 No.805

Go see the other thread. His positions and website flat out say he wants to fuck with legal immigration just as much.

FLASHBACK: IN 2013, JEB BUSH ADMITTED ‘LEAKY’ IMMIGRATION LED TO 9/11

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/10/18/flashback-jeb-bush-admitted-leaky-immigration-led-911/

>In addition to the Mexican drug cartels, the fact that several of the 9/11 terrorists entered the country lawfully under a leaky immigration system has heightened national security concerns—so much so that immigration enforcement has been placed under the Department of Homeland Security.

How dumb is this Jeb?

Trump on 9/11: CIA Director Warned George W. Bush, "They Knew An Attack Was Coming"

>They knew an attack was coming. George Tenet, the CIA director, knew in advance there was going to be an attack, and he said so to the president, and he said so to everyone else who would listen. That came out.

>The other thing is, the FBI, the NSC [National Security Council/NSA] and the CIA were not talking to each other, and they weren't talking because they didn't like each other, they had a lot of problems getting along, and that is leadership, getting your three main agencies to talk to each other.

>They had information that could have been corrolated, it would have been very helpful, as President Truman says, the buck stops here...

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/10/20/trump_only_talking_about_911_because_jeb_said_his_brother_kept_us_safe.html

It's a smart move because the more Trump associates Jeb with George the more Jeb will sink.

His attacks I think are very well planned and smart.

He has to keep going back to immigration though as that is what is keeping his most active supporters loyal to him. The wall even if it doesn't work is a nice psychological effect for all the proles who want the "bad stuff" to stay out of great America.

It is also a smart appeal because being against GWbush makes Trump appealing to a wider audience. The fact that Trump keeps getting labeled a liberal and a democrat is probably advantageous for him in the long run.

What I think is very interesting is his promise to make a new 9/11 commission and his affiliation with 9/11 truther groups.

http://worldnewsdailyreport.com/donald-trump-promises-to-reopen-911-investigation-if-elected/

>“First of all, the original 9/11 investigation is a total mess and has to be reopened” he told the crowd of supporters. “How do two planes take out three buildings in the same day? I never got my head around the fact that nothing is mentioned about the destruction of Building 7 in the 585 page document” he explained, talking about World Trade Center 7 which also collapsed during the September 11 attacks.

https://www.darkmoon.me/2016/trump-promises-full-investigation-of-911-if-made-president/

I like Trump as a candidate, I like arguing for him as well as I love shitposting.
