I just voted for the first time

feels good man

I had always avoided it before because no voter registration card. I didn't have one this time either but I brought my driver's licence and a piece of mail with my current address and they registered me right there. It was easy.

>who did you vote for?

Libertarian Party of Canada

>why?

I like Stephen Harper as prime minister, but I strongly dislike the Conservative candidate for MP in my riding, so I couldn't bring myself to vote for him. I hope Conservatives win a majority in Canada but lose this riding because fuck that guy.

>and what motivated you to vote this time?

I've been shitposting about politics on imageboards for a few years now, so I figured I should put in my two cents when it actually counts.

It sucks that the people who understand politics the most usually don't take part in political activities. Polls, protests, ..etc
