I think it could solve a lot of social issues, especially on abortion when the father wants the child to be born, and the mother doesn't. The simple solution with the technology is to just transfer the fetus.
I think it can also help with the biological constraints women face, like the risks of a child being born with downs syndrome or some other defect increasing after the age of ~33 (that and balancing furthering their own career).
If that topic ever gets brought up to a public discussion, I can't help but imagine feminists also wanting that banned despite the benefits to womankind.
