Here it is... Are you ready for the thought that nobody dares think? The way of viewing the world that 99.9999% of people reject?

Here goes... Brace yourselves...

...

Everything is fine.

Okay, not everything, but more or less. Assuming you live in a first world country, you have it good, real fucking good. Even your recessions are just slowdowns in the growth rate of an already highly developed and prosperous economy. Everything you call degeneracy is just down to people being so comfy and well defended that they can relax and actually enjoy life.

You have it good, so good that you are bored. You want struggle, so you invent it. In the UK, you act like austerity is going to take away your benefits, when it's been completely tepid and overblown by tabloid rags, and it's the same for immigration. Completely overblown rubbish.

Everything is great, and it's getting better every year. By the end of the century, we'll be living in a more or less automated cyber utopia. Re-fucking-lax you stupid panicky nazi and commies.

Actually, it's not just the extremists. Even regular center-leftists and center-rightists believe that the sky will fall if the other side gets in. Bush was going to become a dictator who sold your babies to corporations... and it never happened. Obama was supposed to round up all the "patriots" and put them in FEMA camps... but I guess he hasn't had time.

But people never learn from this. As soon as the next election comes around they spin the same tales of doom and gloom.

Then you have the people who believe that it doesn't matter who you vote for, not because things are fine, but because there's some evil third group controlling both parties to wreck everything.

Almost no one recognizes that the similarity of different parties in actual power (rather than in campaign season when they are talking up their differences for the crowd) speaks to the fact that almost everything that could be tried has been tried already. We aren't perfect, but we've come so far that only little tweaks in policy around a common consensus are needed, and that's all we need to progress.

But no one wants this. People want to have a fight. That's why you post on political boards; because you enjoy the ideological struggle, but by this point it becomes petty, so you have to act like the establishment has got it totally wrong, and spin up crazy ideologies like communism, nazism, or libertarianism.

In reality, you are already living in the utopia, or the vast majority of us living in the developed world are. This is as good as it gets, and you hate it. The problem is with you, not the system, you spoilt brat.

99.999999999% of people are running around screaming about the sheep waking up! That everything is fucked up isn't some fringe secret suppressed idea; it's completely mainstream.

The real neglected idea, an idea so boring that nobody considers it, is that everything's fine.

Look around you at the sheer fucking opulence you live in historically speaking. Do you really feel oppressed? Well do you, punk?

It would be insta-deleted, and then the mods would use the excuse of the automatic thread prune for threads under 5 replies even though threads have had tons of replies and gotten deleted coz shills. Either that or it would be anchored for being a "slide thread".

Then why are pills, drugs, and depression through the roof? Why is everyone always mad at one another? Why are women, though their standards of living have drastically increased, more bitter and unfulfilled than ever.

>two party system is perfect

Naww, just naww. You blew my mind right there.

>already living in the utopia

>as good as it gets

People want something to strive for. If they don't they realise how pointless life is, and that pure hedonism does not make for a fulfilling life.

Granny on death bed: I took enough cock to wrap around Jupiter and aborted all my children, hence no grandchildren, and now I'm stuck in this smelly death home alone to rot.

>That everything is fucked up isn't some fringe secret suppressed idea

The thing that gets people is they don't know how to fix it, or feel powerless.

>sheer fucking opulence you live in historically speaking

It's a horrible time for a women to be alive. They are oppressed more than ever! Once you are trained to see the micro-aggressions they are clear as day!

>Bush, Obama

They were both pretty terrible. Why is this the best 'Murrica has?

>cyber utopia

plz, no. That's my nightmare. The robots will have no use for us. Steven Hawking (the mad conspiracy theorist) told me so.

Well it is a pretty pointless topic. Try posting on >>>/happy/, or >>>/cheerupluvitmayneverhappen/

>By the end of the century, we'll be living in a more or less automated cyber utopia.

No, neither "we" or our descendants will. You simply don't grasp what is going to happen when universal robots and advanced weak AI disemploy the vast majority of people.

>it's the same for immigration. Completely overblown rubbish.

Demonstrably false.

>Everything you call degeneracy is just down to people being so comfy and well defended that they can relax and actually enjoy life

False again.

>only little tweaks in policy around a common consensus are needed, and that's all we need to progress

Please tell me about these "little tweaks" wrt gun rights, free speech, due process.

>This is as good as it gets, and you hate it.

It's one thing to cheer for the status quo (and despite your protestations, thats what the majority of people actually do) but it's audacious as fuck to actually pretend that this is the best of all possible worlds while hugely negative trends exist and continue to exist because they are convinient to the people who actually hold power.

> you spoilt brat.

Nigger I know you try to come across as smart-ass parent lecturing a child but your ignorance just makes you look like a tremendous faggot.

>99.999999999% of people are running around screaming about the sheep waking up!

Utter horseshit unless you somehow manage to believe /pol/ or Infowars are representative of the political opinion of the majority. In reality most people want to desperatly cling to normality and "everything is fine" right until the system collapses catastrophically.

> Do you really feel oppressed? Well do you, punk?

Do you know what the fallacy of relative privatation is you humongous polesmoker?

Fuck you, OP. I live in London (a.k.a. white genocide ground zero) and it's literally hell. Knife crime and gun crime happen far more than they should. The street is covered in rubbish like a third-world country. The NHS is about to die[1]. Schools are filled with disruptive, violent niggers. Nobody can speak English. I should not have trouble understanding people in my own country. More sinister than all this is that my city, and therefore my life, is a prime target for terrorists who are literally walking amongst us thanks to our own multiculti policies.

Sure, I have it better than 95% of the world. But when you invite that 95% into your country, don't expect nothing to change.

In particular:

>GP services are reaching breaking point as they struggle to cope with rising patient demand, falling resources and a shortage of GPs,

Two sides of the same anti-nationalist coin: emigration of trained British doctors and mass immigration of new patients.

>Then why are pills, drugs, and depression through the roof? Why is everyone always mad at one another? Why are women, though their standards of living have drastically increased, more bitter and unfulfilled than ever.

Because human being are fulfilled not by being "happy" 24/7, but by overcoming obstacles. When we have no reason to fight, we fight for no reason.

>>6932

>Then why are pills, drugs, and depression through the roof? Why is everyone always mad at one another? Why are women, though their standards of living have drastically increased, more bitter and unfulfilled than ever.

Prove we are more unhappy than ever. Frankly, if you are, you are extremely ungrateful and should probably commit suicide. People have more safety, wealth, and opportunity than at any time in history. Even with poverty still in existence, it's nothing like it used to be.

>People want something to strive for. If they don't they realise how pointless life is, and that pure hedonism does not make for a fulfilling life.

But that's not the system, that's you. You could have a fulfilling life now if you wanted, but you don't have the abilities needed to achieve it, and you wouldn't have in times past either.

Most of the people telling us about the lack of meaning in modern life, would have been serfs doing back breaking labor in the distant past, and would have a good chance of not even making it that far, because they died in early childhood. That's why people had so many kids.

Just look at Africa. Modern Africa is like Europe 1000BC, only with less AKs. Does that sound fulfilling? You aren't going to be a noble or a great warrior of legend, anymore than you are likely to be a CEO or a world renowned scientist now. You are going to be an average joe, only things suck a lot more for you.

>Granny on death bed: I took enough cock to wrap around Jupiter and aborted all my children, hence no grandchildren, and now I'm stuck in this smelly death home alone to rot.

That's her fault. Plenty of people don't do that now, plenty of people have grandkids, and with the care home, you are basically complaining that people are living too long.

>The thing that gets people is they don't know how to fix it, or feel powerless.

These same people would feel powerless back in 1800 or 1200 or even BC years, only they'd be a lot more religious because they wouldn't have an all encompassing state to protect them, and enforce property rights against barbarians so that capitalism can work for them, or funnel tax funds to them if they are NEETs.

The weak will always be weak, and they will always suffer what they must. What is different now, is that they have to suffer a lot less. They actually get to survive and grow in number so that we can hear them blame the lack of meaning in their own lives on modern prosperity.

Then create some meaning you fucks! This is why reactionary people are usually the exact degenerates and weaklings they complain about. Why Nazi forums can rub shoulders with furry ones on a board filled with unemployed losers who in a past time wouldn't have lasted long at all.

>It's a horrible time for a women to be alive. They are oppressed more than ever! Once you are trained to see the micro-aggressions they are clear as day!

And feminists are the same. The more things get better, the more weak people whinge about little tiny teeny weeny hardships they have to suffer, because they actually get time to philosophize and blog about it, rather than shutting up and getting on with surviving.

That's not the fault of modern society. That's the fault of weak people being pathetic. It's not the fault of the rest of us that you are empty and without achievement.

>They were both pretty terrible. Why is this the best 'Murrica has?

Terrible by modern standards, but take a look back into history without the rosy glasses on.

36e0cd No.6993

>>6938

>In reality most people want to desperatly cling to normality and "everything is fine" right until the system collapses catastrophically.

This is wrong. Talk to the average person, and they believe that the other side is plotting to take over and destroy everything.

Average liberals, perfectly average center-left liberals thought that Bush was going to become a dictator and bring in Nazism 2.0, and then it never happened.

Average conservatives, perfectly average center-right conservatives thought that Obama was going to become a dictator and bring in Communism 2.0, and then it never happened.

Even the independents think both parties suck and that we should believe in their special snowflake ideology or the elites will kill us.

The average person is a panicky fuckwad who thinks that every election is the most important thing ever, which is why the third party = throwing your vote away meme is so prevalent, because these people believe that if the Democrats/Republicans get in again, this time it will be a Communist/Nazi dictatorship. That's why 90% of the time people vote tactically against the other party rather than for what they would actually like.

The truth is not that liberals/cons are evil and going to kill us all (average partisan belief), or that both parties are evil and going to kill us all (average independent belief), but that neither party is going to kill us, because chances are that par the odd blip like a war (which between developed countries are becoming more and more remote), things are just going to keep getting better and better and better.

People want to believe that things are terrible because it gives them something to fight for. Almost everyone believes in "the cause", that they are an important part of, holding back the evil about to destroy everything.

Fact of the matter is, if you are a pleb, you don't matter, and you never will no matter what society you live in. And the other fact of the matter, is that things are a million times better for plebs than they have ever been in human history. Materially things are so much better. If you want to start bringing in mystical woo and romanticism, then that's your fault. Your own lack of inner drive being projected onto society as a whole.

But remember, the grass is always greener on the other side.

36e0cd No.6994

It's funny how much the idea that things could be great, the best they've ever been, right now, triggers people so much.

I think it's because that means that the lack of meaning and purpose in life is your own fault. If you want a great life, then git gud, and stop blaming the system for your own weakness. You've got all the opportunity in the world, and you still can't do anything? How pathetic are you?

That's why people enjoy believing in the Illuminati and so on, and you can tell that they enjoy it. Believing in teh illuminati or da jooz or da evil corporations isn't edgy at all. It's dime a dozen projection and superiority complexes.

Git gud.

099fee No.7017

Things aren't great now, were force fed to believe everything is great from the jump. There was a time a man could build his own house feed his family and be happy without having to wake up everyday and go waste his precious life away making someone else's better.

Wrong.

Nice try, OP. Where are the moon colonies? Where's room-temperature cryonics? where are the fucking nanobots? Instead of worrying about strong AI and grey goo we have to worry about chimps, towelheads and commie beaners invading our countries. We watch flaming faggots, femanons and trannies on TV and they call it "progress". The family as a social institution has been destroyed by hookup culture and divorce, and socialists celebrate because that helps them sell the idea of govt welfare. None of this will matter when/if the Singularity comes, but in the meantime it sucks balls. Fuck this gay Earth. REEEEEEE.

a72985 No.8299

Because humans always have drive for more. If humans decided that they were better off than they ever were before in history and should just enjoy it then we'd still be stuck in the agricultural era, but people always wanted to reach for more, because we could see what problems there were now and we strived to fix it.

Why would we stop trying to improve life now, when otherwise, hundreds of years from now, this era could be seen as we see the medieval ages now..

596d1b No.8643

The edgiest philosophy is likely anti-civilizationism (I think it's sometimes called primal anarchism).

03b22c No.8645

>>8643

you mean like Ted Kaczynski's ideology?

875f2c No.8655

>>8643

>>8645

And Ted's version was even edgier than normal anarcho-primitivism, since he opposed egalitarianism and believed that primitive society wasn't the horizontalist love fest left-primitivists believe.

He wanted a primitive society for largely conservative reasons.

Now here's a question: who is more edgy, Ted Kaczynski or Nick Land?
