Capitalism as an ideology was invented in Britain by thinkers like David Hume and Adam Smith who challenged the mercantile system of the Tudor era. The British nation had such success with capitalism that it was copied by other nations.
This was wrong. Capitalism the concept belongs to Britain, and therefore, if any country wants to have a system of private property with markets and a free price system, then that country should pay Britain dues for the use of its national intellectual property. To do otherwise is ideological appropriation.
