18dee8 No.9304

Despite earlier stating he would limit H1B's, trump has suddenly changed his mind and is now fine with importing masses of high skilled labor.

thoughts?

a1702c No.9305

He sucked in the debate, memes can't fuel him anymore and he's acting like Robo Rubio did before. He's now trying to bargain himself out of the corner he painted himself in, and it doesn't help him one bit.

6204f9 No.9306

>>9304

>thoughts

Not surprised in the least.

It seems like he said things to get elected and now that he thinks he has it, he's changing tactics.

It's kinda like the secret off the record tape (If it exists) of him saying deporting illegals is up for debate. He said what he needed to get the votes and now that he has them, he can back off the statements because he knows he'd never be able to get them done.

18dee8 No.9307

DONALD J. TRUMP POSITION ON VISAS

"Megyn Kelly asked about highly-skilled immigration. The H-1B program is neither high-skilled nor immigration: these are temporary foreign workers, imported from abroad, for the explicit purpose of substituting for American workers at lower pay. I remain totally committed to eliminating rampant, widespread H-1B abuse and ending outrageous practices such as those that occurred at Disney in Florida when Americans were forced to train their foreign replacements. I will end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program, and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers first for every visa and immigration program. No exceptions."

That's backpedaling after twitter exploded

A hard tack back to the center after he wins the nomination is likely

00e46e No.9327

Donald Trump is a massive faggot.

18dee8 No.9330

the damage control I witnessed on /pol/ was insane

6204f9 No.9331

>>9307

Yeah, after the debacle of the debate that just seems like damage control...

>>9330

They really do seem to be in complete denial.

The mod log for the board was insane.

http://8ch.net/log.php?board=pol

Mod was having to dismiss multiple reports for hundreds of posts (most likely angry /pol/acks reporting dissenters).

For every actual ban, there must've been a dozen reports.

00e46e No.9334

>>9330

It's gotten ridiculous over there,

00e46e No.9335

>>9331

>The mod log for the board was insane.

The board was bought out by Eric Trump. He also hired a shill army to astroturf the fuck out of the place. They report anti Trump comments to the mods, and the mods delete, anchor, or whatever they are suppose to do in that situation.

Have you ever seen the random photo spammers that spam anti-Trump threads? They just sagebomb and dump random images. JewInvader is one of them. They are also DoD contractors supposedly.

00e46e No.9337

>>9333

>>9335

Also, sorry about forgetting to check those sweet triple trips. The DoD contractors are using Trump as a fracture point for the userbase of /pol/.

>The board was bought out by Eric Trump. He also hired a shill army to astroturf the fuck out of the place. They report anti Trump comments to the mods, and the mods delete, anchor, or whatever they are suppose to do in that situation.

It's a good theory as any. Makes sense too.

>Have you ever seen the random photo spammers that spam anti-Trump threads? They just sagebomb and dump random images. JewInvader is one of them. They are also DoD contractors supposedly.

I think I've only seen that happen once.

(I don't go into Trump-related threads on /pol/ anymore.)

I've seen the shills that spam the same phrase over and over replying to every single comment int the thread pushing it to auto lock several times though.

Funny how that spam doesn't get them banned...

>>9337

>Also, sorry about forgetting to check those sweet triple trips. The DoD contractors are using Trump as a fracture point for the userbase of /pol/.

Holy shit, I didn't even notice those trips. Not used to such a low post count. lol

I think the trumposting on /pol/ is controlled opposition at this point. Nothing worthwhile is being discussed on /pol/ anymore. It's Trump and Trump alone.

7cb0ce No.9350

>>9304

I can't really say I*'m suprised.

He knows that should he get the nomination he would have to align himself more centered, than he currently is.

He pissed off too many republicans to count on their vote, same with democrats who rather see Hillary than him as president.

Him trying to appear more centered might give him enough swing voters though.

Or at least that#s what he's hopeing for I guess.

5f9f4a No.9351

>A trump thread and no one shouted "shill"

I will never miss /pol/.

270f03 No.9353

>>9307

I don't know about this, he sounds like he's starting to steer towards the center now since so many polls are coming out he wouldn't really do well in a 1-on-1 against whoever the Democrats choose.

His requirement to hire American's first is nice though.

54c241 No.9367

drumpf is a neoliberal that just pandered to neckbeard xenophobic americans for votes

working visas and outsourcing do a lot more damage

af27a1 No.9378

>I think the trumposting on /pol/ is controlled opposition at this point. Nothing worthwhile is being discussed on /pol/ anymore. It's Trump and Trump alone.

It's literally to the point where halfchan /pol/ has better discussion than our /pol

5b489c No.9382

I'm really glad i got banned from /pol/. Everytime i called out Trump i got called a "jew shill". I don't even think his immigration policies are that good. Better than the others but still quite awful.

12290b No.9411

>>9382

/pol/ is total cancer at this point. If we all invest some time here we won't have to put up with /pol/ mods again. I never post there, even to shitpost or complain about the mods. They will never get UIDs from me again.

43a62d No.9412

>>9382

>I'm really glad i got banned from /pol/

This, there were people actually defending H1B's last night, and saying that we needed them and that Americans are too lazy for those jobs. Amazing how fast things change

They also didn't touch on Trump saying that immigration was negotiable and that we need to keep the "good ones"

6204f9 No.9510

>>9378

>It's literally to the point where halfchan /pol/ has better discussion than our /pol

You visit halfchan /pol/? lol

*checks*

Okay...I'd agree with you there.

>>9412

That's nothing, I've seen /pol//trump/ defend political support for Israel because of what Trump has said on it.

00e46e No.9530

>>9510

>I've seen /pol/ defend Israel because of Trump

Same. I can't believe how shitty that board has become. And all because the mods were offered some shekels to jump onto the Trump train. Hope they have fun modding an empty board once the elections are over.

a07592 No.9536

>>9510

>I've seen /pol//trump/ defend political support for Israel because of what Trump has said on it.

I should be shocked, but I'm not. They also support

>killing Edward Snowden

>mandatory death penalties for cop killers

>killing families of terrorists

>shutting down parts of the internet granted, what Trump was saying was so vague and ill-informed that you could put any spin on it

00e46e No.9538

>Same. I can't believe how shitty that board has become. And all because the mods were offered some shekels to jump onto the Trump train. Hope they have fun modding an empty board once the elections are over.

It's funny because on election night, when Trump loses the election (I fully believe he has no chance in hell against Hillary), there will be no place I'd rather be than /pol/.

Just to see an entire board melt down.

I might even make some popcorn.

>>9536

If Trump supports it, /pol/ supports it. No matter what it is.

They really should just change the name to /trump/ since that's what the board is.

At least then there would be no pretense about why they're banning people for anti-Trump speech.

I don't have the screencaps, but /pol/ melted down over his loss and didn't believe it was real at first. During 2012 /pol/ went full neocon after Ron dropped out in their support of Romney

Which is about 1000x more pathetic than liking Trump.

af27a1 No.9620

It's official

the race to the moderate center has begun

http://archive.is/0aUfB

>Donald Trump retreated Friday from his promise that if elected president he would order the military to kill family members of militants who threaten the United States

>Trump’s campaign issued a statement quoting him as saying he would not order the military to take actions contrary to international or U.S. law.

>But fewer than 24 hours earlier, in Thursday’s GOP debate, Trump stuck to his position on targeting family members of militants and on an expansive use of torture against captured militants. When a debate moderator asked him what he would do if the military refused to carry out such orders, Trump replied: “They’re not going to refuse me. Believe me.”

I believe you. I am just saying this would be much, much worse than that.

> During 2012 /pol/ went full neocon after Ron dropped out in their support of Romney

Maybe I was somewhere else, like 4chon or something during then... Or maybe i just didn't pay much attention to /pol/ back then. But again, perhaps it's just much, much worse this time around?

c79419 No.9661

I don't know why anyone is surprised.

Let me say this again: TRUMP DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. TRUMP ONLY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT HIMSELF.

Trump says whatever stupid shit comes to his mind at first, then thinks about it, realizes he done fucked up, and backtracks.

If he banned H1B's, where would he get cheap labor to build his ego-trip projects?

Also, /pol/ has always been full of idiots, with only about 2% having functional brains.

a07592 No.9693

Yeah, this is a huge improvement. The real issue is that his earlier statements were disturbed. They were too much like something an angry guy in the street would think whose only knowledge of the outside world was Fox News.

>He continues to ignore H1A

241367 No.9732

>>9624

He is a democrat, he always has been a democrat. The only reason why he is running for the Republican nomination is because he knows he can't compete with Hillary for low-info voters nor on policy. The Republican voters are low-info and Trump knew he can just say the craziest shit in order to get their votes. It was obvious he didn't mean a fucking thing. Now that he has an 'ok' lead, he needs to get the 'cultured" Republicans voters to secure the nomination. To do that, he is going to show his true self, who is just a cosmopolitan democrat who can come off as a Republican because it's so easy.

In fairness to Trump, I think he is more of an old-school liberal centrist who dislikes contemporary SJWs and political correctness, and is probably a fiscal conservative in at least some respects.

Back in the 80s and 90s, the typical person who called themselves a liberal would shake their head at the shit they see today. Jerry Seinfeld is a perfect example of that. I think Bill Hicks would be another great example.

I'm sure it would be an instant ban on /pol/, so nobody will ever bring up the fact that if anyone else had themselves represented in the wrestling ring by a muscular black man, /pol/ would scream that he was a cuck.
