If porn becomes a problem and people keep complaining we should just ask that porn be spoilered, with porn dumps still prohibited.
I don't think the board should prevent a clever or humorous response just because it involves a lewd image. Of course we don't want people deliberately derailing threads with porn.
c7fdf9 No.6
>>5In case porn actually becomes a problem, yes.
But not just because "people keep complaining", no. Threads are not being derailed by porn at all, and yet we already have faggots whining about that.
5446c4 No.7
>>5>>6It's my understanding that porn dumps are already prohibited, but individual porn images are fine.
Basically, if someone spams a ton of porn to derail a thread then the porndump will be deleted. But this doesn't seem to happen very often.

I want to remind the mods of the danger that is community division.
I noticed some complaints about the board moderation.
I think in the instances I witnessed the bans were justified,
but users were using the opportunity to rile up the community against the mods.
It could be intentional or they are just wary from the mod abuse experienced on other sites.
Either way it is important to let the users know that the moderation is not opposed to the common user,
be it through tone or quantity of interaction.
I also recommend being a bit more lax on ambiguous cases while the migrating users are getting adjusted to their new environment.

Asexuality,same as above.
Long hair.Thats hardly relevant to /pol/ but sine it got more than 100 replies it means people are interested in it which asserts the facts that subjects which are rarely discussed give new thoughts to the board, rather than always discussing the ame subjects over and over.It can pass remotely under society due to the way OP proposed the subject.Notice how it got very few sages.

The funny-fat people pictures and the other one-liner OPs had room for aggressive expansion and was left open-ended. Maybe a solution would be a chan where users are required to:
1. Register for the board
2. Lurk for a compulsory amount of time (e.g. must have viewed the board on 30 separate days, must have viewed x number of threads) before being allowed to post. This should be kept private and possibly changed periodically to make shill accounts harder to create.
3. Posting will still be anon with the ID system.
4. Board numbers will be limited to 100 for every 1 moderator, or something to that affect.
5. Mods are required to take some sort of test in regards to logic, spelling and grammar, etc. Could have some sort of election system where users vote on mods based on answers to questions.
6. There is a very clear set of rules with examples of what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable threads.

Every board has captcha if you're talking about the DNSBL thing. Basically, every X requests you make to the post form you'll be presented with a captcha. I want to say it's like 75 requests or something. This was enacted because one of HW's IRC buttbuddies found a way to spam the site, and widely publicized it, so the captcha is basically necessary now to prevent spam bombs.

Mthafucking shills.
If we don't stop nuclear winter, 90% of us will die frozen, hungry and disconnected without sunlight for almost 20 years.
If you're a shill, think about this! Unless you're part of the Elite, you and your bloodline will die as well, your sons and daughters starving and frozen in front of your eyes.
Just like any other group of the Elite, your high priests don't give a shit about you, they never have, same with christians and muslims, your religions died with your prophets. Most jews are money slaves their entire lives too.
Again, a nuclear winter won't last 3 days, you won't even get to have your little race war because anyone outside will freeze pretty fast.
During those 10-20 years, the elite would be partying it up in bunkers while we suffer the most horryfing death imaginable, none of your religious leaders and idols will think twice about letting you die this way.
Please rethink our priorities everyone.

There should be an option to a keep thread from disappearing, even if they're at the bottom of the catalog. Two days ago I woke up and I was going to bump a good thread in which we dug a lot of information and… it's gone! It must have been 30 hours from my bump to the dump. This is too short. And the info in that thread could have been useful in the next two weeks. I didn't save everything.
SUGGESTION: The mods could decide that a thread is worth saving for an undefinite number of days/weeks because it might be useful later. So even if it's at the bottom it doesn't disappear until the mod says it can disappear.

So what's the point of /polmeta/ if the /pol/ mod(s) completely ignore the board?
Suggestion: /pol/ mods must address every thread within 72 hours of it being posted on /polmeta/.
inb4 this is ignored as well.

lmao, you actually thought you had a say in the matter?
the mods will do whatever they damn well please, and there is nothing you can do about it.
You wanted authoritarian rule; well, here it is.

I didn't realize how bad it had actually gotten.

Which is why I rarely post on /pol/ anymore.
Though I do find it interesting that this board still exists, the mods direct any criticism here yet never, ever post here.
Looks like they've turned /polmeta/ into a containment board for questioning, disagreement with and criticism of them.

I'd be fine with authoritarian rule. This isn't it. This is tyranny.

Just use /politics/
Sure it allows shitposting and fallacies but at least no beliefs are banned.
