I've seen this happen multiple times. Shills, usually the 10 bux squad, see a thread they don't like. So they start spamming the shit out of it to slide it. Spam gets reported to /pol/ mods. Mods then come in and delete the spam and then either bump lock or the delete the thread WTF?! That's what their original goal is, and you just hand them what they want instead of taking the time to actually mod it and ban the spammers. It's a joke.

They don't delete the spam.

They delete the thread.

No matter if it's a good thread or not, it gets nuked. It's gone. But thirty shit/pol/ generals and fashion threads can go up without any intervention.
