I don't mind banter at all, but I like discussing things on /pol/ every once in a while, and threads like yours just clog the catalog with shitty bait. Halfchan was filled with those kinds of threads, to the point discussion felt artificial since the majority of topics felt like they were posted by bots or fishing for replies.

I doubt you'd have been banned if you made an actually good, typed out argument explaining why you hate libertarians so much.

I refuse to back down on this. OP managed to shitpost his own thread twice, and nearly fully derailed it with the last one. Now, the thread is still going with decent discussion, without the OP, because he is too dumb to take a hint and follow the rules, even after two short warning bans.

You'd be surprised how much even a 1 day ban can change someones posting habits. And if it doesnt change, then we'll be around to take care of it then. We're trying to have at least one eye on the board at all times, so I think its better to give shorter bans and hope people change their ways, rather than slow the board down by having tons of people on a long ban duration.
