Very well. I'll quote the faggot who betrayed us in his own words: >>6176 >>>6201
>Yeah, I don't get some of the posters on /int/ either. They seem to want every board on 8chan to have no moderation, even for boards whose users want to have mods.
>Anyway, what I looked for to determine if something was "shitposting", were things like posts that were nothing but 2 lines of greentext, people calling each other JIDF, memes without any other accompanying meaningful information, etc. Not really things that are against the rules, but things that would commonly be considered shitposts anyway:
>You're underestimating how far spammers, etc. will go to justify themselves, no rules will ever be concrete enough to avoid loopholes entirely. I'll give you an example of how the hypothetical rules I listed earlier might be twisted around:
>Just to reiterate, here are the rules I proposed:
>-Off-topic is defined as a thread which has little or no relation to politics or current events, or contains no links, articles, data, in-depth discussion
>-Spam is defined as either the creation of a single thread with no meaningful content (e.g. gibberish), or the creation of multiple off-topic posts with the intent to disrupt the functioning of the board
>-Bait is defined as any post which is intended solely to provoke angry replies, and is off-topic
>-Thread derailment is defined as spam or repeated instances of bait which are contained to a single thread
>And here is how some people on /polmeta/ might respond, once they were banned under these definitions:
>my post about pinecones being degenerate wasn't off-topic! Pinecones are related to nature, which is related to environmentalism, which is related to politics. Fucking biased anti-pinecone faggots
>this anecdotal story about fingering my sister should count as in-depth discussion
>this gibberish I posted is actually a post-modern critique of coherent thought, so the content is meaningful and it's not spam
>fuck you nazimods, I didn't have intent to disrupt the board with my 15 ">yfw god exists" threads, so it doesn't count as spam
>my shitty bait post wasn't intended solely to provoke angry replies, it also served a secondary function of [insert bullshit here]. Unban me or I'll tell Hotwheels
Basically, everything /int/ is doing on /pol/ right now would be banned on sight if those proper definitions were established and enforced.
The only reason the mods are allowing this rampant faggotry to happen is because they have been subverted by an organized cabal of shitposting /int/ cancer.
