Mods seem to have gone full hotpocketta mode in general again; I've seen several threads getting deleted today.

I will never understand why they bend over for the rulecucks like that, considering those very same people are bullying them every time they show themselves for not being rulefaggy enough with their moderation.

I don't think you should be banned for it, but I think you should stop crying when you get made fun of for being a faggot. It's like a 4th grader complaining that he's being made fun of because he went to his friend's house with a strap-on attached to his forehead.

Mods really shouldn't be stepping in unless there is something that threatens the board itself, like a raid.

Now from my understanding, a different mod stepped in last night after it came out that some of the anime posting might be coming from an off-site raid, and banned several anime posters for this reason. In general, there is nothing wrong with posting an anime reaction image alongside your post on /pol/.

This hysteria does more harm than good, and witch hunts like this hurt the board in the long run.

Have you ever noticed that these types of 'raids' only turn up when the rules get relaxed a little? This type of thing also happened when Hotwheels took over the board for a day and made the rules more relaxed, resulting in a raid of 1000+ >yfw God exists threads; it's almost like they want to encourage /pol/ to remain harshly moderated and constantly at each other's throats. Probably because doing so would undermine and marginalize the board more effectively than anything else.

One possible exception might be if you're dumping a bunch of images without actually contributing to the thread or the conversation in any way (e.g. a porn dump in an unrelated thread), but that's not what it looks like happened here judging from the pic in your OP.

If he is posting discussion along with his posts, then no, even if it's unintelligent and poorly thought out. We could consider deleting images if he intentionally tries to derail an unrelated thread with image dumps though, or banning if he continues after being warned.

Well, I just gave him a 1h warning ban for dumping Asian grills in 100% of posts, if he still does it then bans will get stricter. For now I deleted files in posts.

Look here, I don't care if people post anime or (spoilered) porn. I care that people are spamming it nonstop and we are unable to have decent discussions because there are so many bait/shitposting threads that actual conversations get slid.

I like free speech, but people are abusing it to the point that the board is almost unusable.
