/pol/ is a board for free speech. It is an anonymous imageboard, and if you don't understand the advantages of anonymity and free speech, then perhaps a subreddit like /r/whiterights would be better for you. I don't mean this as an insult, just as a suggestion.

On a *chan, identity is fundamentally separate from content: this is how such sites are structured. You are encouraged to hide or ignore content you don't like, but a crusade to eliminate content which a segment of the board disagrees with is effectively impossible, and would destroy the board if it were carried out.

But I do, I just don't tolerate shitposting for the sake of shitposting. That's what I intend to remove, because /int/ didin't come to /pol/ to have a political discussion - only to spam their anime bait in multiple threads while switching proxies. It's not fun, and it's not a contribution to the board - it's just trolling. No reason to have /pol/ if it's just /b/-lite , even if that lenient policy gets us more posts.

Also, if you don't moderate anymore, don't respond to any reports and completely ignore the anime spam while giving no official statement - I see no reason why you shouldn't remove the natsoc pics and replace most of the moderation with a spam bot of some sort.

Doing nothing in terms of moderation only works on /b/.

/pol/ isn't declining for people like you or me, it's the lack of happenings that make things boring. Besides some topics that have been discuss ad eternum and/or lack of history threads (besides the daily holohoax thread) lack of fictional politics threads (there were one about LOGH, but that was all). But i do not blame the mods, the mods are great now, they return to the path; now the userbase need to return to their roots
