former owner of /polmeta/ here

doesn't seem like raiding at all, you have my condolences.

The raid is what they refused to do anything with.

Haven't you learned your lesson about embarrassing yourself by way of making assumptions without the full picture?

Shouldn't always immediately trust people complaining about bans. Wait for the volunteer in question to respond about this, if it still seems like a shit reason you can jump at it then.

I didn't delete this thread, the other volunteer did. After reviewing it, it just looks like you are trying to gain ownership of /pol/. I suspect so you can destroy /pol/, just as has been attempted numerous times.

>/pol is broken, replace mods NOW

>/pol/ is compromised, come to my NEW board now!

>/pol/ is run by hotwheels and should be given to me instead

The narrative is getting a bit old. Myself and imkampfy have been with the board since september, and will continue to moderate it as we always have been. The vols that have been attention whoring and making ridiculous bans over the last few months are gone. The old board owner was far too busy irl to keep up with everything, so the ownership was passed to myself, who was in fact the first volunteer he brought on. My moderation style has remained consistent.

Hotwheels tried to promote us to a global board months ago, and that lasted all of 18 hours. His moderation style and ours conflicted too much, and he has been completely hands off since then. With the new style of spam attack, I have brought another vol on for strictly spam. He is in the Australia time zone, so he should fill in any time gaps we have had nicely.

Again I will reiterate, your narrative is quite stale, and is not going to work. Hotwheels will only remove ownership of a board from the owner if the owner knowingly nukes the entire board for no reason or abandons it. You can keep attempting to 'take over' the board, but quite frankly it's not going to work. /pol/ is not compromised, has not been and will not be as long as myself and imkampfy are here to watch over things. Nice try schlomo, and Long Live /pol/!

Innocent until proven guilty. I'm just saying it doesn't look like a raid to me. Could just be a difference in how we define 'raid' though.

To be fair, by faggetttss' current rule of no meta threads on /pol/, I suppose it should have been deleted anyway.

>attention whoring

I can see how it might be politically expedient for you to keep saying this, to try to solidify support by distancing yourself from us, but I'd like to know what gave you the idea that we were ever attention whoring.

Keeping in mind that, at the time, you completely agreed with the changes that Nacht and I made back in April.

>I suspect so you can destroy /pol/, just as has been attempted numerous times.

I think the current board owner of /pol/ has done a good enough job with that by himself, by being completely absentee. Hotwheels had to jump in and put spam protection on our board because the current board owner of /pol/ is such a lazy absentee board-name squatter.

If it's you, you should probably step down immediately. If you're in contact with the board owner of /pol/, you should suggest him to step down immediately. I still have no idea why Hotwheels didn't just appoint a new board owner when he found that we didn't even have spam protection, no early 404, nothing.

Hotwheels cannot change the board owner unless the owner himself nukes the board or just abandons it.

If you don't like how thing are done on a board either keep complaining until the owner changes his mind or just go somewhere else.

It is me. You are aware you can see the board log and see what the volunteers and myself are doing, correct? Before you throw around 'board name squatter who is absent' you should do a little research.

Hotwheels didn't put on any spam protection, I did. It was never enabled since board creation until now because the other vols/old BO and myself have gotten pretty practiced on getting rid of the spam by hand. This botspam by bui was a new attack, and it was handled.

I only mention attention whoring regarding going to /int/ and posting there.

Did you disable file support for pdfs? If so why?
