Why are the mods on /pol/ deleting and bump locking/locking any threads that they dislike, or generally go against our ideals? Sure, most, if not all of /leftypol/'s ideas are shit, but why are we shutting them up whenever they're in the mood for genuine debate? If we're keeping any alienated ideas out and stopping them from posting anything that goes against us, then we're just making one big hugbox- just like /leftpol/ has.

The Metric vs Imperial was a real debate post.

The is race real post was a real debate post.

The legalizing drug post was a real debate post.

The holocaust did happen post was a real debate post.

The suicide post was a real debate post.

The rest weren't even that off-topic, but just weren't debate posts.

The content of those posts is severely lacking, and I find what you consider to be a point to bring up debate suspect.

Got a 3 hour shitposting ban for posting a thread about Huffington Post revering a nigress who walked around historic slave sites in New York while naked. Not sure that was appropriate.

We get tons of spam threads about Negress's all the time I'm afraid. It'd have to be really, really big to not be considered shit to people who've been here long.

Obviously quality control is not the focus of the mods, though. Otherwise most threads would be purged.

No, most threads would come back with a vengeance. if they tried.

If they lax up on the moderation the spam exponentially spikes.

If you think that threads about drug laws, or about metric vs. imperial, or about the Holocaust are "indistinguishable" from interracial porn threads, then you must be imagining interracial porn everywhere you go

>I'm not here on /pol/ to see spam about Negresses trying to convince me to fuck em' instead of a woman from my own race.

Just because you personally come to /pol/ to browse certain topics doesn't mean that every topic you are uninterested in no longer belongs on the board.

As an aside, only a very weak-willed person could be convinced to fuck black chicks based on a few posts on an anonymous board on the internet.

>And please, it's "the Vol" or "that Vol", until namefagging takes place that is wholly unnecessary.

no. It's Heil, imkkampfy, and zs. They have each made specific actions which can be tied to their usernames:

I just made a new /pol/ alternative, >>>/neupol/

If you want to funpost without angry hotpockets locking your shit, consider coming there.

If it becomes active, it might even help to ease /pol/'s internal differences by acting as a "containment board" for undesirable elements.

We have access to board logs. Nearly all the auto-saging is done by kampfy.

6b076f No.8358

>>8332

I made this image.

>>8333

To make such a statement seems… Sketchy.

Some of those threads had some decent material in them… Others, eh… Regardless, there was no real reason to remove them - and plenty of threads that were as-deserving still on the catalog at the time, which were untouched.

>>8357

I keep hearing this.

If this is the case, it should not be that difficult for evidence to be compiled - we have the board logs, we have the catalog, bump-locked threads have a symbol… Compile the info.

If it IS the case that this kampfy individual is the root source of the majority of the user-disapproved bump-locking and other faggotry, then its simple: they gotta go.

Do NOT, however, resort to fucking mods worship/decrying - if a shit mod is shit, and it can be demonstrated irrevocably via evidence (which should be feasible), they ought to be removed, and no mod should be viewed as beyond such removal if they've demonstrated poor judgment in repeated instances.

We could really use more transparency and accountability in the way this board is run.

A (bi-)monthly State of Union address, featuring BO and the entire mod team, would be a nice touch, and go a long way in terms of increasing the degree of trust and respect for those taking on the positions of authority.

32fc66 No.8359

>>8353

>Claims I'm referring to Y when I am only talking about X.

The Nigress spam is part of various race mixing shit posts which is designed to make you get used to it and treat it as normal via constant exposure convincing you to fuck em' is just a bonus.

The Mods have been good at keeping it cleaned up and I get that you weren't around until recently so until you see it for yourself I can understand you think I'm full of shit, I would however like to point to you the first page and second page on this board, skim the threads and notice the exact same avatarfag double posting consecutively in a bunch of them. The Mods are much more lax on this board because it's so slow and small.

>no. It's Heil, imkkampfy, and zs. They have each made specific actions which can be tied to their usernames:

Heil, impkampfy, zs, guy, Lightning (guy who manages Polmeta)

Or BO, Mod 1, Mod 2, Mod 3, Mod 4 (don't remember if that's the exact order)

The names is not relevant if they don't use names because then it's BO, and for Vols Mod #. Only if the BO makes the Board Logs hidden will their names and/or BO or Mod # not come up.

Unless they namefag by posting with that name or worse tripcodes then referring to them as Mods, Vols, and Bo (for the Board Owner) is a matter of respect for their Anonymity (that's how I see it anyways).

>>8356

Hiding doesn't work for the catalog.

Speaking of the catalog the R refers to how many read the thread, "I" refers to how many users have actually posted, P is page number.

>Heil, impkampfy, zs, guy, Lightning (guy who manages Polmeta)

>Or BO, Mod 1, Mod 2, Mod 3, Mod 4 (don't remember if that's the exact order)

You've got it a bit mixed up. Heil (also known as Faggetttss) and Lightning are all the same person.

There are two other mods on /pol/ - imkampfy and zs.

If you see a ##Board Volunteer capcode it's almost certainly imkampfy, because as far as I can tell zs does nothing but work behind the scenes to remove spam.

The reason /polmeta/ has no rules is that it's a meta board, so nothing gets removed from here on principle. It's basically a containment/feedback board, so it needs no rules.

You're never going to get rid of the kind of people who avatarfag, they are endemic to imageboards and I strongly suspect that the guy doing it here is trying to get the mods to crack and enforce harsher rules (usually a bad thing).

Public infighting due to a lack of communication over important issues leading up to a boiling point where we all realized the board would be better off with new volunteers. We figured the users trust in our capability to impartially do our jobs was destroyed.

Trypt became an /int/olerant faggot, however it was revealed later it wasn't just Trypt but other Mods (including former BO) who facilitated an /int/ raid by deliberate inaction.

At the same time as the first /int/ raid the (most likely Sony backed) PSYOP thread (triggered by Sony Email digging) caused the paranoia to spike and created a "bubble" if you would which enticed /int/ to do yet another raid. It was this second unplanned one that the Mods apparently didn't expect which caused them to respond and get shat on by everyone calling them out for their bullshit.

The Mod who wasn't being a faggot in all of this was the one who became the BO, it seemed really suspicious at first but Hot Wheels confirmed it was legit when the Hola Botnet was revealed.

That's from my perspective anyways.

nah mate, you have your events completely mixed up.

>Trypt became an /int/olerant faggot

First off, I've been lurking and posting on /int/ since at least November, long before all of this started. I've always liked both /pol/ and /int/, though in the weeks leading up to April I had kind of become worried about the attitude change on /pol/ where people wanted to turn the board into a hugbox and kick out alll non-Natsocv thought. I know most people on /pol/ don't think that way, but there is a vocal minority that does and it would be bad policy to listen to them exclusively just because they'rte the loudest. When Nacht and I decided to lighten up on moderation, things seemed to change pretty drastically on /pol/ because we were the only mods who had been heavily moderating to begin with.

>however it was revealed later it wasn't just Trypt but other Mods (including former BO) who facilitated an /int/ raid by deliberate inaction.

We handed out quite a few bans in April for raiding, but because we didn't ban everyone who posted an anime reaction image everyone freaked out. There have always been a lot of cross-posters between /int/ and /pol/ by the way.

The former BO had absolutely nothing to do with this, he was on vacation when it happened. The only mods who were involved were:

-me (Trypt)

-Nacht

-Faggettsss (current BO)

>At the same time as the first /int/ raid the (most likely Sony backed) PSYOP thread (triggered by Sony Email digging) caused the paranoia to spike and created a "bubble" if you would which enticed /int/ to do yet another raid. It was this second unplanned one that the Mods apparently didn't expect which caused them to respond and get shat on by everyone calling them out for their bullshit.

I didn't really expect or want a raid to begin with. I was hoping that we could quietly ease back on the rules, and keep everything running smoothly without stifling the board with moderation. Ironically, if it weren't for the raiders /pol/ would probably have looser rules right now without having everyone's paranoia get triggered.

>The Mod who wasn't being a faggot in all of this was the one who became the BO, it seemed really suspicious at first but Hot Wheels confirmed it was legit when the Hola Botnet was revealed.

The current BO had the most hands-off approach to moderation out of all of us back when he was a volunteer. In fact, he was almost entirely absent from October through April, and agreed with Nacht and my idea about lightening up on moderation when I asked him about it back then.

The only thing that changed in April was that Nacht and I started moderating in a similar way that Faggetttss had been doing from the very start. Faggetttss became the board owner by default because Nacht, Doorways, and I all resigned after the drama had been going on for like a month straight, and Faggetttss was the only one left.

Stop locking threads.

Stop pinning threads.

I don't come to /pol/ to discuss the serious issues every day. I want to have some god damn fun. And if an issue is important, there is no need to pin it, if it has everyones interest, or there is more to say about it, it will stay bumped.

Jesus christ, the niggers that came over from reddit knew how to have fun more than you guys do.
