nah mate, you have your events completely mixed up.
>Trypt became an /int/olerant faggot
First off, I've been lurking and posting on /int/ since at least November, long before all of this started. I've always liked both /pol/ and /int/, though in the weeks leading up to April I had kind of become worried about the attitude change on /pol/ where people wanted to turn the board into a hugbox and kick out alll non-Natsocv thought. I know most people on /pol/ don't think that way, but there is a vocal minority that does and it would be bad policy to listen to them exclusively just because they'rte the loudest. When Nacht and I decided to lighten up on moderation, things seemed to change pretty drastically on /pol/ because we were the only mods who had been heavily moderating to begin with.
>however it was revealed later it wasn't just Trypt but other Mods (including former BO) who facilitated an /int/ raid by deliberate inaction.
We handed out quite a few bans in April for raiding, but because we didn't ban everyone who posted an anime reaction image everyone freaked out. There have always been a lot of cross-posters between /int/ and /pol/ by the way.
The former BO had absolutely nothing to do with this, he was on vacation when it happened. The only mods who were involved were:
-me (Trypt)
-Nacht
-Faggettsss (current BO)
>At the same time as the first /int/ raid the (most likely Sony backed) PSYOP thread (triggered by Sony Email digging) caused the paranoia to spike and created a "bubble" if you would which enticed /int/ to do yet another raid. It was this second unplanned one that the Mods apparently didn't expect which caused them to respond and get shat on by everyone calling them out for their bullshit.
I didn't really expect or want a raid to begin with. I was hoping that we could quietly ease back on the rules, and keep everything running smoothly without stifling the board with moderation. Ironically, if it weren't for the raiders /pol/ would probably have looser rules right now without having everyone's paranoia get triggered.
>The Mod who wasn't being a faggot in all of this was the one who became the BO, it seemed really suspicious at first but Hot Wheels confirmed it was legit when the Hola Botnet was revealed.
The current BO had the most hands-off approach to moderation out of all of us back when he was a volunteer. In fact, he was almost entirely absent from October through April, and agreed with Nacht and my idea about lightening up on moderation when I asked him about it back then.
The only thing that changed in April was that Nacht and I started moderating in a similar way that Faggetttss had been doing from the very start. Faggetttss became the board owner by default because Nacht, Doorways, and I all resigned after the drama had been going on for like a month straight, and Faggetttss was the only one left.
