I just got banned for a month for pointing out that mods are abusing the stickies. When you sticky six separate threads you clog up the front page. In your attempt to mark all of them as important the result is none of them look important.

Yeah some of us don't like to use the catalog because we like to actually see some of the replies before clicking on a thread. I know pretty crazy, right?
If you want the page to just be a list of whatever stories you personally feel are worth talking about, with curated discussions and upvotes, then just start another blog, or better yet, go to reddit. Otherwise, trust the users to determine what threads merit their attention.
