>Then when the /intl/ rates happened, the mods used that as a weak excuse to start moderating based on moment to moment feels rather than pre ascribed rules. Shitty arguments about slide threads from users (even though that's why we have stickies), and then the mods start deciding what counts as a "slide" AKA verboten topic, without taking the responsibility and having the decency to display this in updated rules.
You're getting some things mixed up here. The /intl/ (past /int) raids of April-May was when it was myself, trypt, and faggettts moderating, and we didn't start bending the rules then. If anything, we gave the line some slack in that area, as we thought it would mean /int/ would eventually get bored of their intentional shitpost spamming, so long as we didn't feed them attention by giving them bans they could take out of context to misrepresent moderation (they did this… a lot). That ended up never working out, /int/ is never satisfied until a board goes under, their shitposting and metadrama boardwar bullshit never ceased.
Trypt and myself had a falling out over something trivial, we decided to call it quits as vols, and faggettts took over Board Owner (rightfully, Doorways handed it to him because he was the best choice).
The problem with inconsistent and feels based moderation started up when imkampfy showed back up to moderate. He had spent the prior few months inactive, presumably to avoid me or Doorways, who had been harshly critical of how he moderates. I wanted him removed from volunteer before and while he was inactive, Doorways wanted to talk to him first before making a decision. He wound up never getting around to it before passing board ownership to faggettts.
With both myself and Doorways out of the picture, I assume kampfy immediately made his move and started moderating again. I don't know of what conversation kampfy has had with faggettts, but I do know of kampfy bragging about "BO approving" of the way he moderates in another meta thread. faggettts himself rarely posts in /polmeta/, that's not unusual. What is unusual is why faggettts lets kampfy have free reign over the board when he has repeatedly demonstrated hes incapable of seperating his feelings from how he moderates. Bumplocks threads he doesn't like, month long bans for posters he doesnt like (usually for minor offences, if any rules are broken at all), antagonizing the users with 8 stickies at once, capcode power tripping against users calling him out for his mass bumplocks, and so on.
None of this is new behavior in any way, for him, it was the same shit we were seeing months ago before he went inactive. Some fine examples being ban & deletes on a Russian Military thread, a classical art thread, a /pol/ related blogpost (blogposts should be frowned upon, but the users don't need someone to judge for them whether or not a blogpost thread is meritorious enough to stay bumped)… There is many more, you need only check the current ban list. I don't even need to look at it to be able to confidently say he's likely got a month long ban for trivial offence somewhere in there recently.
So the tl;dr is past mods =! current mods, dont lump us in with the current group, we're not responsible for this crap anymore. Only suggestion I can give you is to keep pointing out his more heinous mistakes, until faggettts realizes what he's sanctioning by giving kampfy free reign
