Mods, stop being niggers or fix why this happens to users.

We are not going to have a growing userbase if the website shits out on us and bans get handed out for users who didn't do jack shit. This is very concerning

VPNs are pretty great, I use one too. If you find that a one of your gateways for your VPN is banned post here and it'll be looked into.

172.x addresses are apparently private IPs non-routable on the internet like 127.x

I wasn't aware of this though and it seems harder to find clear info about it than 127.x

Can you explain more about this problem? I'm not a vol or mod, but just baffled.

So that address is tmobile, and is apparently internet routable, but I see other sources saying that 172 is similar to 127 and not internet routable.

I'm just getting confused. I'm seeing multiple sources saying that 172 is private but are they just confusing 127 with it?

Happened to me in September, the post I was banned for was an obvious race-cuckold shill thread.

I uninstalled a ton of stuff afterwards and it hasn't happened yet.

I suspect it was associated with a windows binary of Retroshare that was linked in /scurv/ that I downloaded from a website called Sourceforge.

Could have also been the official SpeedCrunch calculator or Google Chrome. I uninstalled those as they were all recently installed.

Hasn't happened since.
