American Superiority

>China enters 2015 in the top position, where it will likely remain for a very long time, if not forever. In doing so,
>it returns to the position it held through most of human history.

>China’s strength and progress depends on the security of a world order largely designed by the United States, and there are no easy ways to get around the limits this places on China’s foreign policy choices.

United States not as the single world super power leading and swaying all? Economists show their true loyalties.

>Global Firepower (GFP) provides a unique analytical display of data concerning today's world military powers. Over 100 world military powers are considered in the ranking which allows for a broad spectrum of comparisons to be achieved concerning relative military strengths.

>The user should note that nuclear capability is not taken into account as that would defeat the purpose of such comparisons. Instead, the GFP ranking is based strictly on each nation's potential conventional war-making capabilities across land, sea and air. The final ranking also incorporates values related to resources, finances and geography. Some statistics have been estimated where official numbers are not publicly available.

A major consideration in war is that if you want to profit from your campaigns you have to be able to pillage and plunder something in the aftermath. Nukes are useful but completely ignore that consideration.

Good /pol/ literature

There will be some general reading guides put up.

If you want to recommend a book that is already within them then provide a 1 sentence main point summary and another sentence explaining what category you would put it to for example.
"The fate of Empires discusses the cycle that all major empires have so far cycled through, but it may not have to be so. This is recommended reading for those still believing that in the modern age we are totally unlike our forebears."

If you are putting up a general book guide then please label it in some way so that if there are two similar guides we can easily discern why they differ.

For discussions beyond brief summaries please make a new thread.

Catholic Prep School: No Transgender Students

A Rhode Island school says it won’t accept or enroll transgender students.

>Catholic Rhode Island private school Mount Saint Charles Academy is open to everyone—so long as they’re not transgender.

>The latest edition of the Woonsocket school’s parent-student handbook states flatly and without further explanation: “Mount Saint Charles Academy is unable to make accommodations for transgender students. Therefore, MSC does not accept transgender students nor is MSC able to continue to enroll students who identify as transgender.”

>There are no stated exclusions based on race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other factor—only transgender status.

>The change was implemented in October 2015 but concerned alumni only noticed it recently, GoLocalProv reported. David Coletta, who graduated from MSC in 2009, created a Change.org petition to ask the school to “leave the hateful rhetoric in the past [and] accept trans students.”

>Coletta told The Daily Beast that the MSC he knew would never ban transgender students and that the current policy “goes against their own teachings.”

>“It’s completely different than how they teach their students to behave,” he said. “We were always taught there to be very accepting and loving of others.”

Invaders given free housing in Ukraine, Despite natives protesting

Ukrainians are already fighting off Russians, now they are being swarmed by mohammedismic invaders too

“I am tormented by one question: will our government give all displaced persons from [the ongoing Donbass war in Ukraine] free housing?” asked Xenya Yakushko, a local journalist.

“Why has government, instead of giving shelter to Ukrainians, begun suddenly bringing in 250 totally foreign people? Has the war ended?” […] “and how much do we benefit from the Syrian refugees?”

Despite the Donbass war and the concerned citizens, the Ukraine government has decided to go along with the EU’s “resettlement” agenda.

If these really are Syrians who are fleeing a war-zone, surely the Ukraine would not be the best place for them with the Donbass war still ongoing? Especially considering the area the immigrant center is in sees armed conflict.

The reason why the EU refused to enforce border laws from the very start is because they wanted the Africans and Middle Easterners in Europe, whether legal or illegal.

RAPING OF EUROPEAN WOMEN

EUROPEAN FUCKING GENOCIDE

youtu.be/KUPuMs3E_k0

The rape of Europe continues, as the European and U.S.A. birthrates continue to decline rapidly* the mohamedmen birth rate expands exponentially*

*(http://archive.is/VCX49),*(http://archive.is/62EcE),*(http://archive.is/Culv),*(http://archive.is/768Kn),*(http://archive.is/mhb16)*(http://archive.is/wQhWF),

The cultural genocide of the Western world and Europe continue as mohamedmen men have as many as 20 different children with multiple wives* running wild raping the "infidel whores" they were taught to abuse since birth*

Europe is dying*, an engineered soft-kill genocide this is the engineered death of multiple Western and European societies and cultures

The women taught to embrace political correctness and be empowered feminists are becoming victims of jihad* and will undoubtedly give birth to many future jihadis

Hundreds of thousands of "migrants" (aka al-hijra practicing extremists*.) continue to enter Europe* with a projected 200,000 entering the U.S.A.*

And of course many many of them are outright ISIS members* and members of other groups, undoubtedly they are exploiting this to the fullest extent possible

So I ask you if we are to let them continue the culling? the slow phasing out of Caucasoid's and Christianity and things -silly things such as freedom and true equality, and the gradual phasing in of sharia law* and mohammedismist fundamentalism*? and the mohammedismization of our children*? or will we speak out and fight back? Resistance is never futile even if it is symbolic in gesture as I fear would be the case in Europe, I also fear Europe faces a very bloody war with radical mohammedism inside itself and mohammedism could easily gain complete control of Europe just as it could the West.

Feminism Against Cologne rape - but WELCOMING REFUGEES WITH OPEN ARMS

What made the attacks in Cologne different was that the shellshocked police force claimed the attack was perpetrated by men of “Middle Eastern and North African origin.”

Thus began a feeding frenzy on the whole of the far right, clamouring with renewed vitriol against the million Syrian refugees Germany took in this past year, asylum seekers and immigrants in general, and mohamedmens (even though the Cologne Police never ascribed a religion to the drink-besotted mob). Amidst the online outrage is the claim that feminists and leftists are hypocrites, caring about women’s rights only when european men can be blamed as oppressors, and the false claim that we have been silent about the New Year’s sex attacks.

Yet, as one might expect, such people project a fantasy onto us, ignoring the fact that this crime has sparked ample condemnation from feminists around the world

The women who suffered the attacks in Cologne–and in other German cities on that fateful morning– are now being used as mute props by nationalists and xenophobes who never gave a damn about rape before. According to both the BBC and Deutsche Welle, actual victims of the attacks do not want the crimes inflicted upon them to be used against all refugees in the nation. “It would be wrong to blame refugees,” a young woman named Michelle told BBC correspondent Jenny Hill. “They need our help.”

But larger issues remain. We must not allow ourselves to be seduced by the widening gyre of xenophobia now gripping our country. Everywhere are gendered dog whistles (remember Donald Trump accusing Latino men of being rapists?), and we are surrounded by opportunities to seek alliances of convenience with mohammedismophobes and racists whose sudden concern for women was prompted only by the enticing prospect of a brown, foreign man to blame. His purpose, like that of the violated virginal european woman, is also to act as a cipher; in him is invested all of the nation’s sin and thus, it is hoped, his exile will coincide with the expiation of that sin. “Rape culture exists,” the xenophobe at last admits, “but you will find it only among mohamedmens/Mexicans/asylum seekers.” They can temporarily position themselves as allies in the fight for women’s rights, and scorn us for denying them, but we deny ourselves lasting solutions if we focus narrowly on crimes committed by immigrants.

Misogyny cannot be deported, you cannot build a wall to keep it out, it cannot be beaten by a policeman’s truncheon, and it cannot be interred in a camp. The xenophobe’s prayer is that he can invest his own sins into that of the Other, thus feeling more moral himself, and assured of the rightness of an otherwise inhumane conviction. How many european German men now screaming for the heads of Syrian refugees were among that Oktoberfest crowd groping women, one wonders?

We stand at the edge of a terrifying abyss where serious people with power and authority are flirting with ideas that would see Western societies target religious and ethnic minorities with state power and violence unseen since the 1930s, all against the backdrop of ongoing sexual violence against women in the West. From a mass shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado, to deadly road rage in Houston, to ISIS’s continued threats against us all and their insidious attacks against “soft targets,” we are confronted with a pantheon of terrors that are determined to bring out the very worst in us all. Just this weekend, a gang of hundreds of masked men with european supremacist ties roamed the streets of Stockholm looking for non-europeans to assault, whether or not they were refugees.

In moments like this our moral clarity cannot fail us.

Ankara Turkey Hit by Bomb

Turkey's capital Ankara rocked by deadly explosion

As of 17 Feb 2016 22:00 GMT - At least 28 killed and 61 wounded after car bomb reportedly targets military personnel travelling in heart of city.

Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr, reporting from Gaziantep, said officials believe a car bomb had caused the explosion on Wednesday evening and the target had been Turkish military personnel, who were travelling in a vehicle which was stopped at a traffic light.

The death toll rose steadily on Wednesday night, with those wounded in the blast sent to hospitals across the city.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for an urgent emergency meeting with top level security officials in Ankara.

"We will continue our fight against the pawns that carry out such attacks, which know no moral or humanitarian bounds, and the forces behind them with more determination every day," Erdogan said in a statement.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but government officials said they were treating the incident as a "terrorist" attack.

Analysts and unnamed Turkish officials said the Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) armed group would be among the leading suspects.

The explosion was heard across the capital when it went off at about 6.15pm local time.

The attack happened at the height of evening rush hour, not far from Turkey's parliament, government buildings and military headquarters.

Witnesses shared images on social media showing a large plume of smoke rising into the sky and and local news footage showed a large fire burning at the site of the explosion.

"This is really in the heart of the Turkish capital - it is clearly a message to the Turkish government," Khodr said.

"This is the fourth major explosion in Turkey in the past few months."

'Terrorist' act

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus said in a speech that the "blatant, treacherous attack" was well organised.

Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said on celebritysoapbox the attack was an act of terrorism. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who had been due to leave for a trip to Brussels later on Wednesday, cancelled the trip, an official in his office said.

A Saudi-born Syrian suicide bomber, widely believed to be inspired by the Isamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), detonated a bomb in the historic district of Istanbul in January, killing at least 10 people and injuring 15 others.

Turkey has become a target for ISIL, with two bombings last year blamed on the armed group in the town of Suruc near the Syrian border and in the capital Ankara. The latter killed more than 100 people.

Violence has also escalated in the mainly Kurdish southeast since a two-year ceasefire collapsed in July between the state and the Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) armed group, which has been fighting for three decades for Kurdish autonomy.

http://archive.is/GhyOk

An official at the armed forces’ general staff confirmed military buses had been the target, hit by an explosive-laden car as they waited at traffic lights. The country’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that the attack would only strengthen Turkey’s resolve against insurgents.

Plumes of smoke were seen rising over the area and the powerful blast was heard all over the city, sending residents to their balconies in panic. Television footage showed an intense fire around a burned-out bus and emergency vehicles rushing to the scene. A spokesman for the ruling Justice and Development party (AKP), Ömer Çelik, said he strongly condemned the attack as a “heinous act of terrorism”.

The Turkish prime minister, Ahmet Davutoğlu, cancelled a trip to Brussels to attend a security briefing. He said the authorities were looking into information they have received about the explosion on Wednesday night.

President Erdogan issued a statement saying: “We will continue our fight against the pawns that carry out such attacks, which know no moral or humanitarian bounds, and the forces behind them with more determination every day.”

Kurdish rebels, Isis and a leftist extremist group have carried out attacks in the country recently. Ankara was already on alert after 103 people were killed before the general election in October in a suicide attack on a pro-Kurdish rally, which the government blamed on Isis. A suicide bombing blamed on Isis killed 11 German tourists and one Peruvian in Istanbul in January.

Since last summer thousands of officers have been deployed in massive security operations against the PKK’s urban wing, and blanket curfews have been declared in several predominantly Kurdish cities and towns in the south-east of the country.

Hundreds have died in the ensuing clashes, including over 400 civilians, and human rights organisations have strongly condemned the ongoing violence.

Genocide of Whites: Act to Stop It!

You must understand with every fiber of your being that your true nation, your true religion, your true society, your true politics, your true allegiance is within you.

by H. Millard

Making many more like yourself makes you more important than the richest and most famous people. It is what you are born to do. If you do not understand, then you may want to start taking a long view of history, which is the correct way to view things. You are here today as a european person because a long line of your ancestors bred european. Your line extends into the dim past. Make it extend into the far future. Do the right thing. Make more like yourself and your ancestors.

Over the past centuries, many europeans failed to breed or they bred non-european or they didn’t breed enough — and they have gone extinct. Your ancestors did better. Your ancestors won the struggle for existence. You are the result. You are the fittest now alive. If you fail to breed european, you will be judged unfit because you will be a dead end. Don’t let your ancestors down. Keep the european life force within you moving forward into the future. Be a new Adam or Eve for all future europeans. No matter what else you do in life pales in comparison. If you have many european children who survive you, you will go into the future with them. And, those now alive who don’t make more like themselves? They are nothing. They may be rich. They may be famous. They may be great writers, inventors, or whatever, but if they do not make more like themselves, they are nothing and they will not exist in the future. You may be poor, you may work in a factory, you may struggle for food, you may not have much luxury, but if you have many european children, you are rich and blessed beyond compare. These aren’t just empty words — they are the truth. This is the way of existence.

You may believe that there is some sort of afterlife, but that has never been proven. What has been proven is that a part of you goes forward into the next generation via the children you have who are most like you. The more like you they are, the more of you goes forward. It is common sense. It is a genetic reality.

Do not be a dead end. Pass on the sacred european genes you got from your european parents and your european ancestors by having as many european children as possible. That is your most important purpose in living. Keep the european chain unbroken. Other europeans may not follow suit. That’s their problem. They may be internally defective. That’s not your problem. You still must do what is right.

And, please, don’t argue that “we can’t outbreed non-europeans, so we shouldn’t even try to have more european children.” The way Nature works is that there are great die-offs and bottlenecks. The more europeans we have in existence, the greater are the odds that we will survive as a people, maybe even just by a few of us who get through the die-offs and bottlenecks that will eventually happen. Be the new Adam and Eve emerging on the other side to rebuild as a new european people, better, smarter, stronger, healthier.

You must live and breathe europeanness. It is the only thing that matters. Rid your mind of false ideas and silly notions that your most essential identity is based on abstract concepts. It is your DNA Code — that has your genes — that is the real and essential you. All else is secondary or even false. You are part of the european Tribe on this dark planet. Know it and live it. All non-kikeish europeans are related. We are one people. We are one kind. We are different from all non-european peoples. We have been selected to be the next step for mankind but we must make it so or we will be replaced.

And, here’s another thing, if you are an awakened european and you live europeanness, you are part of a subculture of similarly awakened europeans. Take faith in this, and understand that you are not alone even though you may be surrounded by europeans who don’t understand and who are on their way to oblivion via mixing and mating with non-europeans or who are not having european children. Awakened europeans may be in the minority, but we are right and we are good and we are the ancestors of europeans who will exist thousands of years in the future. We are the new Adams and Eves. We are the founders of a new people.

European Genocide : WHITE GENOCIDE

European peoples are just 8% of the world population

By Johannes van Thorn

“Theirs is an ideological tool to get gullible Caucasians — Leftists and blinded fools with good hearts— on board to help tear down the growing number of us who see through the plan. A fraction of such Leftists didn’t need to learn how bad their ethnocultural group was, but were oikophobic from birth, just as some people are born psychopathic (c. 3%), or how a certain number are born biologically homosexual (c. 3% male, 5% female). These traits exist in all human populations, actual diversity being what it is, but most Leftists were not born that way, but conditioned (brainwashed) to be that way in college. This represents the great victory of the 1968 Cultural Revolution.

It isn’t too late. If you get the sense somewhere deep down that there is value in your racial identity, in what you are, despite the fact, your school and its professors and curriculum, your government, and all media outlets have told you there is none — this chart was made for your consideration. It presents a snapshot of the state of the Extermination Plan’s fruition.”

“Each column begins with U.S. cities (if there are any) followed by Canadian, UK, Western European, Eastern European, Russian, Asian, Latin American, and Southern African cities. The chart was compiled from online census data from each country and is current as of summer 2015.”

Remember, Euro-european peoples are just 8% of the world population (2% are european women of child-bearing age).

European Resistance : Zukunft für Europa - Identitäre Bewegung

We will NOT back down! EUROPA is worth protecting and we will not succumb to your deceptions

For nearly a millennium, Cologne has been associated with its Cathedral, its twin spires featured prominently on every imaginable thing – including the ubiquitous tall glasses serving the revered local beer, Kolsch. In the 20th century, the city became known for its easy-going, fun-loving nature, a city of warmth, hospitality and tolerance – and its wild Carnival.

Now, this ancient city on the Rhine is famous around the world as a place where gangs of drunk "foreign" men sexually assaulted hundreds of young women and terrorized them while police, outnumbered and unable to intervene, turned the victims away – sending them back to the very men who were victimizing them.

It's heartbreaking – for those women, and for my city.

Why here? How did this happen in Cologne? Actually, similar attacks occurred – on a smaller scale – in Hamburg, in Stuttgart and in Austria. And they date as far back as summer 2014, when Swedish police investigated a similar incident at a local festival.

“It was a modus operandi that we had never seen before: large groups of young men who surround girls and molest them," a Stockholm official told U.K. newspaperThe Guardian afterward. "In the cases where we were able to apprehend suspects, they were of a foreign background, newly arrived refugees aged 17-20, who had come to Sweden without their families.”

It's eerie how that echoes the Cologne chief of police after the assaults became public.

Still, the horrors of Cologne are of a scale heretofore unheard of in Europe – and New Year's Eve was perhaps a perfect storm: A large gathering of people, mostly drunk, and police slow to realize what was happening. That's because Cologne has a very permissive attitude toward public drunkenness, and large groups of drunk young people congregating in and around public squares are not unusual here.

The fact that the men responsible for the attacks were largely immigrants is also not a shock. The state of North Rhine Westphalia, in which Cologne is located, has taken by far the largest portion – 20% – of the more than 1 million refugees who arrived in Germany in 2015.

It should be no real surprise to anyone that thousands of unemployed, testosterone- and alcohol-fueled young men running loose in one of the most open cities in Europe would eventually run amok. That is, of course, not an excuse, but it illustrates with shocking clarity how poorly prepared we were to receive this many people in such a short time period.

Sadly, instead of focusing on quickly integrating those here now, we are seeing an even starker divide in society over the refugees, more violence and a blame game.

The police are under intense scrutiny, and there is talk of prosecuting officers for failures that night. Vigilante groups have taken to the streets to hunt down foreigners because some don’t believe the government is doing enough to protect their wives and children.

But prosecuting the police isn’t the answer, and neither is vigilantism. The answer is learning our lessons from these incidents, in order to prevent something similar in the future.

Many of us in Cologne and other German cities do not see the assaults as a justification for reversing Germany’s open-door policy toward refugees

But we do believe that those who committed these crimes should be prosecuted and, if convicted, sent packing.

Thankfully, amid all the voices crying out to close the borders, there are those who believe, as I do, that lumping together all recent arrivals with those who committed these acts of violence is simply wrong – and it only serves those who want to ban all refugees from mohamedmen countries, and the far-right who would like to kick out anyone they deem a foreigner.

I can only hope that we in society, and our officials, will find the courage and wisdom to discuss the issues openly, and a way to balance our decision to deal compassionately with refugees fleeing the horrors of war with the duty to protect the safety of all of us.

Only then can the healing of the wounds inflicted on this beautiful city – and our hearts – begin.

Government killing people again

>Flint water victims can't sue the government. That's another crime.

>

>

>>Michigan's state and local officials poisoned Flint's water with lead but innocent federal taxpayers are the ones having to foot the cleanup bill. President Obama has pledged to hand Flint $85 million in aid money. This sounds like a lot, but the fact of the matter is that it is far less than what Flint's victims would have gotten if a corporation — rather than government — had been the culprit. That's because, unlike private companies, the government is shielded from liability lawsuits.

>>After initially giving Michigan Governor Rick Snyder only $5 million in going away money to help Flint residents buy water filters and bottled water, President Obama finally acquiesced this week to pleas for more help and authorized another $80 million. Now he's also considering Snyder's request for extending Medicaid eligibility to all Flint children up to age 21 regardless of their income or insurance status.

>>Setting aside the Medicaid expansion, the $85 million in federal aid combined with the $28 million in state aid that Snyder has arranged, works out to on average $1,000 for each of Flint's 99,700 residents — or about $4,000 for a family of four.

>

>>As has been widely reported, 6.4 percent of Flint's nearly 8,500 kids are now testing for dangerously high lead levels in their blood stream — up from 3.6 percent before the city switched them from Detroit water to toxic Flint River water. Many of these children have developed rashes and brittle bones and face the prospect of permanent brain damage, diminished IQ, and behavioral difficulties. But kids are not the only ones hurt. Around 85 people have been diagnosed with Legionnaire's disease — a particularly horrible form of pneumonia — compared to around six to 13 in a normal year. Ten of them have already died.

>>The lead poisoning occurred because Flint failed to treat water with phosphorous, something that corroded the coating inside city pipes and home plumbing, allowing lead to leach in. Though switching back to treated water has diminished the lead content for now, the danger of lead poisoning will always remain unless all the piping is refitted. But replacing city pipes will cost up to $1.5 billion. This would be difficult for even a financially healthy city, let alone one that can't even pay its existing bills and has unfunded pension liabilities of $1.1 billion.

>

>>What's more, each homeowner will face at least $4,000 to install a new water heater, plumbing system, and a new service line connection, as The Washington Post points out. And then of course there is the hit to Flint's already declining property values as the city further cements its reputation as an irremediable basket case.

Sweden and other Scandinavian countries 2016 invasion crisis

Norwegian officials called the school guards "extra supervision". Critics said the plan to post security personnel near an Oslo school in case of assaults by newly arrived refugees was an ugly euphemism for intolerance.

Critics said that huh? Why would it be intolerance to keep your kids safe from sexual molestation and gang physical violence?

Across the border in the far northern Swedish town of Kalix, a traditional bastion of center-left politics, over 100 residents signed a petition against plans to turn a 19th century country house into a reception center for unaccompanied minors.

Kalix has a population of just over 7000 people.

The debate among these liberal Scandinavian stalwarts would have been unheard of a year ago, underscoring how concern about a record influx of immigrants is percolating into the Nordics' mainstream from the populist fringes.

Anti-immigrant, populist parties have gained support since some 250,000 refugees entered the Nordics last year.

This is a false number. Most immigrants to the scandinavian countries are neither spread into the northern parts of the region nor concentrated anywhere except the capital cities such as stockholm, the immigrants have also been coming for about a decade and the numbers of family members brought in are hard to find and track, that is in addition to the original illegal immigrants.

A record 163,000 refugees arrived in Sweden and the far right is vying for top spot in polls. In Denmark, the anti-immigration Danish People’s Party is the second largest in parliament.

But it is a backlash among the mainstream that may be the biggest change. There are signs that voters may be broadly supportive of immigrants but not in their own backyard. From welfare cuts to new ID checks, it is a trend that shows the limits of even some of Europe’s most open societies, and may represent a sea change for politics in Scandinavia.

"It's a big change happening close to us. In all neighborhoods there are concerns," said Pia Almvang, head of the parents' association at Lysaker primary school in a leafy well-to-do area of villas near Oslo, cut through by a motorway with cheaper four-storey blocks of flats built alongside. "The parents just want to look after their kids."

The town council agreed to parents' requests for extra security by a motorway underpass near a refugee center for 600 people that opened this month. After criticisms of "asylum guards" the proposal was withdrawn, but it had already polarized this middle class community.

A February survey showed immigration as the main concern for 40 percent of Swedes, easily trumping worries over failing schools, joblessness and welfare. The change over half a year was the biggest opinion swing in the poll's history.

From taking in Vietnam draft dodgers in the 1960s to Balkans war refugees in the 1990s, Sweden has been proud of its open door policy for decades. Norway has been among the leaders in helping refugees worldwide with aid.

While the asylum situation has led to an outpouring of support from many Swedes - charities reported record donations last year - it has also led others to worry about the effect on schools, crime and the country's welfare state.

>mentioning other european countries as well as asian ones

Notice this intentional effect to pretend that africans, arabs, and turks are not swarming en masse, into Sweden especially.3

Guaranteed Income - Switzerland

Every Swiss adult resident would have the right to guaranteed basic monthly income of 2,500 francs a month, if a proposal to be submitted to voters this summer is accepted.

Swiss to vote on guaranteed income for all

In this small country that has avoided most of the massive immigrant movements they want to provide universal welfare to all citizens.

The initiative, proposed by a group of intellectuals, was one of five subjects approved by the federal government on Wednesday for the ballot box on June 5th.

Switzerland will become the first country in the world to vote on the introduction of unconditional income' at the national level.

But it has not won much support from traditional politicians, even those on the left.

The initiative’s backers say it aims to break the link between employment and income, with people entitled to guaranteed income regardless of whether they work.

Each child would receive 625 francs a month.

The federal government estimates the cost of the proposal at 208 billion francs a year.

Around 153 billion taxes would have to be levied from taxes, while 55 billion francs would be transferred from social insurance and social assistance spending.

The action committee pushing the initiative consists of artists, writers and intellectuals, including publicist Daniel Straub, former federal government spokesman Oswald Sigg and Zurich rapper Franziska Schläpfer (known as “Big Zis”), the SDA news agency reported.

Personalities supporting the bid include writers Adolf Muschg and Ruth Schweikert, philosopher Hans Saner and communications expert Beatrice Tschanz.

The group said a new survey showed that the majority of Swiss residents would continue working if the guaranteed income proposal was approved.

Only two percent would stop working, while eight percent said they could envisage this possibility depending on circumstances.

“The argument of opponents that a guaranteed income would reduce the incentive of people to work is by this is largely contradicted,” the initiative’s committee said in a statement.

However, a third of the 1,076 people interviewed for the survey by the Demoscope Institute believed that “others would stop working”.

And more than half of those surveyed (56 percent) believe the guaranteed income proposal will never see the light of day.

Genocide of European Race Continues

A TOTAL OF 12,220 people entered eastern Austria in the previous 36 hours as the migrant flow from the Balkans to northern Europe continued, police said Monday.

On Sunday, 8,540 people entered the country via the Nickelsdorf crossing point with Hungary, followed by another 3,680 between midnight and 7:00 am on Monday, they said.

The total is higher than in recent days, with daily totals over the previous week averaging around 5,500, the vast majority of whom seek to travel onwards to Germany and elsewhere.

Police spokesman Gerald Koller told AFP that the increase follows a recent rise in numbers entering Macedonia from Greece on their way northwards through Serbia, Croatia and Hungary.

“This is not a record, though. There were days last month when we had daily totals of 12,000 or 14,000,” Koller said.

Hungarian police said 7,879 migrants entered the country on Sunday and 7,907 on Saturday, also higher than the average of previous days.

Europe’s biggest influx of migrants has seen several hundred thousand people enter the continent this year, many fleeing conflict in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The crisis has exposed deep divisions within the 28-nation European Union over how to distribute the new arrivals and stemming the flow, as well as a rise in popularity for nationalist parties.

Germany - Catholic church says too many refugees

The German Catholic Church called for a reduction in the influx of refugees arriving in Germany, saying the country cannot take in "all the world's needy," according to an interview published on Saturday.

Germany has been struggling to cope with 1.8 million asylum seekers that arrived in 2015 and Berlin has not yet given an official estimate for how many it expects this year.

"As a church we say that we need a reduction in the number of refugees," Cardinal Reinhard Marx, chairman of the German Bishops' Conference, told the Passauer Neue Presse daily.

Germany cannot "take in all the world's needy," Marx added.

The question of how to respond to the migrant crisis, he asserted, should not solely be a matter of "charity but also reason."

However, Marx also expressed concern at a rise in xenophobia in Germany amid the worst refugee crisis that Europe has known since World War II.

A recent example came when Germany's eurosceptic right-wing populist AfD party suggested last week that police "if need be" should threaten to shoot migrants seeking to enter the country.

Border police "should be able if need be to have recourse to their firearms – as laid down by law," said party chairwoman Frauke Petry.

This type of speech is "unacceptable," said Marx, adding "Sadly there has always been a certain potential for right-wing extremism and racism in Germany."…

"This ideology has evidently been further consolidated," he said, lamenting that the belittling of foreigners had "reached the upper classes."

Anti-mohammedismic group Pegida, which began as a movement in Germany in mid-2014 and has since spread to France and other European countries, called on members and sympathisers from across Europe to march Saturday under the anti-migrant banner of "Fortress Europe".

Catholicism : Fight for your people or be the last generation

The reason foreigners can not into local culture.

It is not for lack of trying but for lack of knowing.

They will never understand our hard won truths. The blood t'was poured. They won't recognize our heroes.

Or understand what they fought for. They are not like our people. Not in thought, taste, or desire.

They do not enjoy what we hath. They will not enjoy what we shall.

We can not live together in a multiculti society.

We can only live in a diverse world when each group of people is left to their own sovereignty.

Catholicism is about a strong Europe enriched by European diversity, not "diversity" of foreigners.

SJWS purging SCI FI books

Social Justice Warriors are once again demonstrating their political intolerance and hostility to free creative expression. It’s happening in an arena we’ve covered before – the world of sci-fi and fantasy publishing.

File 770, the blog of three-time Hugo Award winner Mike Glyer, reports that bookstore owners in Toronto are being approached with negative information about authors who participated in the Sad Puppies Hugo Awards campaign.

The Sad Puppies campaign, as explained in the hyperlink above, was an attempt to expose political favouritism and intolerance in the sci-fi and fantasy community. If this latest incident is anything to go by, it continues to be a dispiriting success.

According to a commenter at File 770:

I’ve talked to a couple of book store owners in Toronto and someone is sending out Jim Hines roundup of the SP/RP affair. As a result, they are stopping making orders for [Larry] Correia, [John C.] Wright, [Brad] Torgersen, [Mike] Williamson and others of the worst broadcasters who have supported homophobic statements. I would assume the originator is part of Toronto’s gay community (which was oddly intertwined for years when Baka Books and the GLAAD bookstore were next door). It’s only the independents that I’ve heard so far, but if it hits Book City or Indigo, that could be a big repercussion

The commenter is, of course, incorrect to suggest that the authors have made homophobic statements. Williamson is a self-proclaimed libertarian, and there are no records of Correia or Torgersen making controversial statements about homosexuality.

The only one who could plausibly face such an accusation is Wright, who has described homosexuality as an “aberration.” Clearly, to the SJWs of sci-fi, anyone outside the liberal-progressive ingroup share the same bigoted opinions.

Politically unorthodox authors are also facing persecution on Goodreads, the foremost social network for book readers.

There is no doubt that some sci-fi authors hold views that are alien to much of mainstream, liberal opinion. However, the SJWs who are trying to drive them out continue to fail to grasp that no political opinion is justification for exclusion from awards participation, bookstores, or the sci-fi community at large. The point of sci-fi is good sci-fi, and the point of awards is to recognise good sci-fi, not politically conformist opinions.

SJWs continue to demonstrate their inability – or unwillingness – to separate good art from questionable artists. In a manner eerily similar to the anti-historical campaigns to scrub images of unfashionable – yet historically significant – individuals like Woodrow Wilson and Cecil Rhodes from university campuses and public spaces. At the behest of SJWs, the face of H.P Lovecraft, one of the genre’s pioneers, was recently removed from the iconic trophies of the World Fantasy Awards.

There’s something ISIS-like to it: the purging of historical icons and works of art because they represent something that falls outside a rigid, intolerant ideology.

Political intolerance in sci-fi appears to be growing, not diminishing. The Sad Puppies of 2016 will have their work cut out for them.

These sick banking globalists want your genes to die. They want your race to die. They want your culture to die. They want your ideals to die They will only proliferate their bloodline, even if they appear similar to you they are not. They hate you and everything about you.

They don't care about your obsession with genderfluidity or your obsession with multicult appeasement. They absolutely do not care that you have an ivy league degree or that you managed to earn a few million dollars before you reached your thirties.

All they want is a more complete control over your mind and body.

USA - foreign workers white collar jobs

Industry, Universities Hide Workforce of 100,000 Extra Foreign european-Collar H-1B Employees

The journalists–and Americans—have been kept in the dark while universities and many allied name-brand companies have quietly imported an extra workforce of at least 100,000 lower-wage foreign professionals in place of higher-wage American graduates, above the supposed annual cap of 85,000 new H-1Bs.

Less than one-sixth of these extra 100,000 outsourced hires are the so-called “high-tech” computer experts that dominate media coverage of the contentious H-1B private-sector outsourcing debate.

Instead, the universities’ off-the-books H-1B hires include 21,754 professors, lecturers and instructors, 20,566 doctors, clinicians and therapists, 25,175 researchers, post-docs and biologists, plus 30,000 financial planners, p.r. experts, writers, editors, sports coaches, designers, accountants, economists, statisticians, lawyers, architects, computer experts and much else.

These european-collar guest-workers are not immigrants — they are foreign professionals hired at low wages for six years to take outsourced, european-collar jobs in the United States.

The American professionals who are displaced from these prestigious university jobs don’t just go into the woods and die. They migrate down into other sectors, such as advocacy and journalism, or step down to lower-tier colleges and companies, where the additional labor-supply drives down european-collar wages paid by other employers.

So how does this off-the-books army of foreign professionals get to take jobs in the United States?

Here’s the secret — the H-1B visas given to university hires don’t count against the 85,000 annual cap, according to a 2006 memo approved by George W. Bush’s administration.

Basically, universities are free to hire as many H-1Bs as they like, anytime in the year, for any job that requires a college degree.

The university exemption is so broad that for-profit companies can legally create affiliates with universities so they can exploit the universities’ exemption to hire cheap H-1B professionals. From 2011 to 2014, for example, Dow Chemical, Amgen, Samsung and Monsanto used the university exemption to hire 360 extra H-1B professionals outside the 85,000 annual cap.

Foreign professionals can convert H-1Bs into permanent Green Cards if their employers file paperwork. (…) That Green Card inflow means that tens of thousands of younger American graduates lose upwardly mobile jobs in the private sector to cheaper competition, while foreign competitors simultaneously cooperate and compete to bring in their friends and allies, including many from their home countries.

That’s still not all!

The L-1 visa is used by companies to transfer managers into the United States. From 2009, to 2013, almost 70,000 were awarded each year, each lasting up to seven years. That adds up to a total between 300,000 to 400,000 foreign managers and executives working in the private sector.

In early 2015, Obama’s deputies unilaterally began granting work permits to the spouses of H-1B professionals, despite the lack of congressional approval.

A draft regulation released Dec. 31 by Obama’s deputies at the Department of Homeland Security would allow many more Indian and Chinese H-1Bs to get Green Cards, and also allow many more companies to import H-1B workers outside the supposed 85,000-per-year cap — if they just ink a deal with a university.

This huge european-collar guest-worker force is only part of the labor-market impact of foreign workers. In 2013, 2 million new foreign workers entered the country just as four million young Americans began looking for their first jobs. That year, wages flatlined, corporate profits rose and stock market spiked.

Europe Crisis - will it survive

While millions of mohamedmens come for the free goods…

Internationalist politicians don't want anyone to have a strong identity, they don't want plebs to know family, they don't want any meaningful traditions to be practiced.

Politicians laugh how they are guaranteed income as parasites. The commoners fight amongst each other on a myriad of fronts while the bankers, corporations, politicians all eat luxury.

They will tell you to stop being racist, to vote harder, to stop being sexist while millions of mohamedmens come for the free goods.

You'll think you have a new leader that cares about you, and as long as you act this slave role your new leader will always be just ready to fix everything but never able nor willing to help you. So long as you look above and around you for solutions instead of with your own mind and two hands, you will remain in this nightmare world.

Pakistani response to latest teror attack: "maybe we should arm teachers"

>Pakistan attack raises tough question: should teachers shoot back?

Stuck with 15 of his students on a third floor balcony of a campus building as gunmen came up the stairs, university director Mohammad Shakil urged Pakistani police arriving at the scene to toss him up a gun so he could shoot back.

"We were hiding … but were unarmed," Shakil told Reuters, speaking after four mohammedismist militants attacked Bacha Khan University in Pakistan's troubled northwest on Wednesday, killing more than 20 people.

"I was worried about the students, and then one of the militants came after us," Shakil added. "After repeated requests, the police threw me a pistol and I fired some shots at the terrorists."

As more details of Wednesday's assault emerged, attention focused on at least two members of staff who took up arms to resist attackers bent on killing them and their students.

Some hailed them as heroes, as the country digested an attack which bore similarities to the massacre, in late 2014, of 134 pupils at an army-run school in Peshawar, about 30 km (19 miles) from where this week's violence occurred.

Others questioned whether teachers should be armed, as many are, because it goes against the ideals of the profession.

Such a dilemma may have been far from the mind of chemistry professor Hamid Hussain, as he locked himself inside a room with colleagues after gunmen stormed an accommodation block on the university campus.

When the assailants broke down the door, Hussain fired several rounds from his pistol, according to Shabir Ahmad Khan, an English department lecturer taking cover in an adjacent washroom.

"They carried on heavy shooting and I was preparing myself for death, but then they did not enter the washroom and left," Khan recalled.

Later on in the same building, Hussain fired again at the militants to allow some of his students to get away, surviving pupils told local media. Hussain was subsequently shot and later died from his wounds.

"Kudos to professor Dr Hamid Hussain. Our hero fought bravely n saved many," Asma Shirazi, a popular talk show host, said on celebritysoapbox.

TEACHERS' DILEMMA

Others, too, have credited the actions of Hussain and Shakil with helping to prevent the gunmen, armed with assault rifles and hand grenades, from spilling more blood.

Bacha Khan University also employed around 50 of its own guards who, witnesses said, fought for close to an hour to keep the gunmen isolated and prevent them from entering the girl's hostel as the police and army arrived.

Pakistan army spokesman General Asim Bajwa said the security guards responded "very well" to the attack before reinforcements reached them.

In the wake of the 2014 school massacre, teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where Peshawar is located, were offered weapons training. Yet some are wary of arming teachers and encouraging them to engage in battle.

Gun ownership is common in Pakistan, owing to liberal licensing laws, and particularly so in the semi-autonomous tribal belt near the Afghan border where the threat of militant violence is high.

Jamil Chitrali, president of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa University Teaching Staff Association, said more teachers were now carrying personal weapons, as security had worsened.

"Arms are against the norms of my profession," he said. "I am teaching principles and morality in the class. How I can carry a gun?"

WHO IS TO BLAME?

Four gunmen, all since killed, were involved in Wednesday's attack, officials said. They used the cover of thick fog to scale the campus' rear walls, before storming student dormitories and classrooms and executing people at will.

Some 3,000 students were enrolled at the university, many living on campus, while hundreds of visitors had arrived to hear a poetry recital to commemorate the life of local Pashtun nationalist hero and pacifist Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, after whom the university is named.

The provincial government declared a day of mourning on Thursday as grieving families buried their dead and survivors recalled their ordeal.

Justice and Health

Look at politics and realize it.

The world will need a fanatic militant movement that is decentralized which will behead mohammedismists and beat all the capitalist empowered feminists until they fuck off.

Traditionalism had the biological norms and took it for granted.Your great grandfather and great grandmother being prime examples of femininity and masculinity were products of their time.

This movement, not to be properly called "new" will take those aspects as well as the sane aspects of science and militarize them.

A woman is valuable because she does what a man can not do - her body an ideal environment for the baby in the uterus and her gentleness and breasts ideal for the infant.

A man is valuable for his ability to focus all his energy on one task and the body physically attuned to greater strength and stamina.

A man who kills those who threaten his people is a hero; a man who loves all is a coward.

One family doing this in the western world sounds like a short event until arrest

Now imagine a movement like this that is in the millions before being uncovered or understood and it happens while the western world crumbling from the inside is unable to slow its growth.

Tell this to all who hear you because this is coming.

All valued for their strengths and respected for individual choices but encouraged to use those strengths for the good of their people.

Foreign settlers not welcome.

Taxation/Extortion not welcome.

Can you deny that a movement that empowers its women in the correct biological roles (that are actually needed by all women and most realize it too late in their 30s) , rejects every cancer that has decimated population numbers in one form or another at every collapsing empire, and rejects bullshit religions that thwart technological and informational progress is already rising on the decaying corpse of western civilization?

Time for a rejuvenating power has come. Old ideas are neither all good nor all bad and only a dead fool would deny what works while his people fail to reproduce. Technology can be a curse but not if it adheres to biology and enhances it. Instead of being used to replace everything natural it strengthens the biology of the users and is reconstructed by them instead of reconstructing them.

The time for mercy and compassion is over when the recipients of those gifts seek to destroy the kind givers.

Now is the time for protecting your people and your culture by every means necessary. The weak who speak derision will die in the filth they sow.

This undeniable truth is here before you. Create your future and defend it.

By any means - kill all the white race

How is forced assimilation /diversity european genocide?

Raphael Lemkin, a lawyer, invented the term “genocide” and is responsible for its legal definition today.

Lemkin defined genocide as follows:

“Genocide does not necessarily mean the immediate destruction of a nation” . . . “It is intended to signify a coordinated plan of different actions aiming at the destruction of essential foundations of the life of national groups, with the aim of annihilating the groups themselves. The objectives of such a plan would be the disintegration of the political and social institutions, of culture, language, national feelings, religion, and the economic existence of national groups, and the destruction of the personal security, liberty, health, dignity, and even the lives of the individuals belonging to such groups.”

Today, the United Nations Genocide Conventions legally defines genocide as follows:

(a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

In our case, “diversity” – but only for european countries – is violating section C, therefore “diversity” is european genocide.

Portugal's Socialists to Form New Government

Portugal's Socialist party is poised to form a left-wing governing alliance with the eurosceptic radical Left in a bid to become the country's new government.

Following an election stalemate in which the opposition Socialists came in second place to the incumbent conservatives, leader Antonio Costa has said he is ready to strike up an alliance to become the country's new prime minister.

The eurosceptic Left Bloc and Communist Party both received 10.2pc and 8.3pc of the national vote share respectively. However, Mr Costa has affirmed that he will only head up an alliance that would pursue policies that will keep the country in the euro, four years after it received an €78bn international bail-out.

"Although the negotiations are obviously still underway, at this moment, everything indicates that the Socialist Party is in better condition to be able to lead a more stable government solution,” said Mr Costa, a former mayor of Lisbon.

October's general election saw the ruling coalition of prime minister Pedro Passos Coelho lose its majority, despite coming in first place with 37pc of the vote. Mr Coelho's government had zealously implemented spending cuts and tax hikes as part of the country's bail-out deal.

Mr Costa had vowed not to provide parliamentary support for a conservative-led minority government, throwing Portugal's economic progress into doubt.

The political vacuum has seen already seen Portugal become the first eurozone country to fail to submit its draft budget plan to the European Commission.

Portugal's former creditors, including the International Monetary Fund, have urged any new government to stick to the path of austerity and structural reforms in order to return the economy back to health.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly."

- Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106-43 BC

You are witnessing what will be shown to future generations as the reason for the fall of an Empire.

At current immigration levels and disappearing birth rates native Europeans are destined to become a minority in their own countries within decades. This is already the case for many of Europe's largest cities.

Europeans have effectively lost their right to exist as cultures and nations in their own homelands and are facing extinction.

Millions of young mohamedmen men leave behind their family, pay thousands to criminal traffickers to reach the land they have been promised by European politicians illegally.

Dubbed by the media as "refugees", they cross through 6-10 safe countries to reach wealthy nations like Germany or Sweden where they hope to receive a better life at the expense of the taxpayer.

Only a fraction of them are Syrian, as they enter unfiltered, without any documents and without any legitimate right to claim asylum. Women and children are rarely seen, except in the cherry-picked sob stories of the media.

Any indigenous resistance of Europeans who refuse to hand over the countries of their ancestors to often radical and criminal mohamedmen foreigners is labeled "hateful", "racist", even "Nazi".

The level of cultural, moral and political subversion with egalitarian and Marxist ideologies has reached levels the KGB would never have dreamed of. Equality and tolerance are lies that serve none but a few.

The Left, mainly orchestrated by Zionist interests, is destroying our countries from the inside. Patriotism, the most basic and fundamental trait of any nation that wants to survive, has become something to be ashamed of.

Feminism has destroyed family values and birth rates. Healthy nationalism has been replaced with a culture of guilt, self-hatred, apathy, degeneracy and pathological altruism. We are told to embrace "diversity", in reality this simply means instead of just being a global minority, Europeans are supposed to become a minority in their own countries as well. No civilized society can keep up with the birth rate of third world immigrants, especially when the main goal is integration rather than assimilation. Parallel societies breed poverty, crime and radicalism.

Multiculturalism has never, at any time in human history, worked anywhere. If you believe otherwise, you're delusional. In fact it's the primary reason for every major conflict.

The crimes committed by the EU against the European peoples are directly in violation of the 1948 UN genocide convention, Article II: (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

Because of this injustice, far-right parties everywhere in Europe are gaining astonishing amounts of support, becoming the biggest parties in some countries.

Any European that does not rise up to defend his country from foreign invasion because he's too scared of words does not deserve it.

We are still at a point where you will not get imprisoned for your political opinion in most European countries, but this will change very soon. Do not be apathetic, do not be weak. Be someone that can be proud to call himself European.

First They Jailed the Bankers, Now Every Icelander to Get Paid in Bank Sale

Iceland Viking Blood

https://www.redicecreations.com/article.php?id=34640

First, Iceland jailed its crooked bankers for their direct involvement in the financial crisis of 2008. Now, every Icelander will receive a payout for the sale of one of its three largest banks, Íslandsbanki.

If Finance Minister Bjarni Benediktsson has his way —and he likely will —Icelanders will be paid kr 30,000 [$233.50] after the government takes over ownership of the bank. Íslandsbanki would be second of the three largest banks under State proprietorship.

“I am saying that the government take [sic] some decided portion, 5%, and simply hand it over to the people of this country,” he stated.

Because Icelanders took control of their government, they effectively own the banks. Benediktsson believes this will bring foreign capital into the country and ultimately fuel the economy — which, incidentally, remains the only European nation to recover fully from the 2008 crisis. Iceland even managed to pay its outstandingdebt to the IMF in full — in advance of the due date.

Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson, Budget Committee vice chairperson, explained the move would facilitate the lifting of capital controls, though he wasn’t convinced State ownership would be the ideal solution. Former Finance Minister Steingrímur J. Sigfússon sided with Þórðarson, telling a radio show, “we shouldn’t lose the banks to the hands of fools” and that Iceland would benefit from a shift in focus to separate “commercial banking from investment banking.”

Plans haven’t yet been firmly set for when the takeover and subsequent payments to every person in the country will occur, but Iceland’s revolutionary approach todealing with the international financial meltdown of 2008 certainly deserves every bit of the attention it’s garnered.

Iceland recently jailed its 26th banker —with 74 years of prison time amongst them — for causing the financial chaos. Meanwhile, U.S. banking criminals were rewarded for their fraud and market manipulation with an enormous bailout at the taxpayer’s expense.

Last Chance

Hello fellow >>>/pol/ iticians

We have a major problem on our hands.

The kike has successfully tricked people into fighting race wars instead of overthrowing their governments;

into using corrupt government currencies instead of bit coin and a dozen other free alternatives.

The kike has tricked them into accepting capitalism with all its government buying scandals and warmongering lies.

While some have accelerated a war on straight European Race men- others have decided that the biggest problem is mohammedism and the hordes coming from the mohamedmen lands.

The biggest problem is government and its many tentacles that infiltrate and corrupt everything they rake over.

From public education to zoning laws in cities.

From subsidization of major corporations to income taxes on individuals but not on corporate profits.

Even if you think government is necessary - the current governments in power are against man - against honest living. They perpetuate minor problems into bigger ones to make sure they remain relevant.

Know the real struggle here. A relatively few men with political and international business empires that have survived the centuries are strangling everyone to maintain their unnatural hierarchy. Humans are not a hive. Those who want leadership let them choose. And those who seek no guidance let them walk their own paths.

The modern governments consider all who aren't in the ruling ranks to be brainless drones. Are you a brainless drone? Do you not have a right to control your own body?

There is no new world to go to. And if we ever get off this earth while they still rule going to new worlds will not be as open as it was to go to the Americas.

Save this planet from these corrupt souls. Do not hide from criticism. You deserve everything you strive for. Fight for it. And the future generations will be so lucky not to live in a world prison.

I KNOW WHY NOTHING HAPPENED IN SEPTEMBER

people were waiting, following all the signs that were happening, everything was falling into place and the economy was set to have an immeasurably huge crash, JADE HELM 15, and all the like was all set to come crashing down all at once. I'm not here to prove that "OH LE NO ANOTHER HAPPENING IS HAPPENING" I'm here to say that I know EXACTLY why nothing insanely important happened in september.

The reason is: everyone would not shut up about it. people everywhere and the entire internet exposed everything and screamed to the top of their lungs "THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING" and people actually made themselves ready, people prepared, the government got scared, and everyones mom said you going to live with your aunti and uncle in bel air.

you and me and everyone else opened the door, exposed all the truth on the floor, and we all walked the dinosaur.

do you understand what I'm saying? we lifted the curtains, we wrote a complaint to everyone. WE TOLD THE TEACHER ON THEM.

probably their only stupid backup plan was to let "nothing" actually "happen" so that everyone would run around screaming AHAHA I TOLD YOU NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN! I TOLD YOU YOUR STUPID CONSPIRACY THEORIES WERE FALSE YET AGAIN!!!

but I'm here to tell you that you all did great. a handshake to 8chan and a salute to liberty and freedom.

>So what is the source of this growing angst about feminism? If the movement truly were fading to an obscure death, as so many commentators suggest, you might think that front-page articles declaring its proponents “femikikes” and trumpeting its demise would hardly be necessary.

Why I Don’t F**k with Feminism, Even If It's Intersectional

>Now, more than ever, it is time that Black women define ourselves by our own terms and join spaces that are created for us and by us.

https://archive.is/ceOFj

The film is The Red Pill, by self-professed feminist Cassie Jaye.

>Another source of resistance, she says, are, “People who don’t know anything about the men’s rights movement. The most common reaction amongst feminists is, ‘why are you giving them a platform to speak?’ I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve heard that. Yet there are documentaries about the Westboro Baptist Church and about skinheads, yet they are so fearful of this topic, and I’ve started to figure out why.”

So it goes on to ask the serious question which came first, the ugly or the feminism? Good query. Does feminism make you ugly, or do ugly women gravitate towards feminism?

>This video is not PC, which is why we are posting it. It’s time for a reality check on feminism, aka “I hate men and America”ism.

Kin Discrimination in microorganisms

“Often when we see these kinds of social incompatibilities, or greater cooperation between close relatives than between strangers, it’s interpreted in the context of kin selection theory, which posits that cooperation—at least within species—will evolve when there’s preferential interactions that occur between relatives that share genes for cooperation,” said Gregory Velicer of ETH Zürich, who led the work. “[We have found that] reduced cooperation between different types can arise not because of any selection for incompatibility, per se, but rather simply because you had these different complex social systems evolving independently of one another.”

Under certain conditions, genetically identical colonies of M. xanthus swabbed on opposite ends of an agar plate grow toward one another, merging to form a single colony. But as Velicer and his colleagues found in a previous study, some samples of M. xanthus collected from a small area of soil did not grow together on agar plates; rather, they bumped up against one another other in the center of the dish, or, in some cases, they approached one another but did not quite touch, leaving strips of bare—or sparsely populated—agar between them.

More recently, the researchers observed a second kind of kin discrimination. On nutrient-deficient agar, starving M. xanthus colonies form fruiting bodies, which release hardy spores that can withstand harsh conditions and be reactivated when nutrients are more readily available. In experiments in which two colonies that were genetically identical—save for a genetic marker—were swabbed onto a nutrient-poor plate, the resulting fruiting bodies were often chimeric, containing cells originating from both colonies. In contrast, fruiting bodies from genetically dissimilar colonies remained separate and were rarely chimeric.

“Many diverse organisms, including animals, fungi, bacteria, and protozoans, exhibit kin discrimination,” Elizabeth Ostrowski, who studies kin discrimination in social amoebae at the University of Houston but was not involved in the work, wrote in an e-mail to The Scientist. “Despite being common, it is unclear whether these abilities are adaptations that act to limit cooperation to close relatives (who share and thus pass on the same genes) or whether they evolved for some other function and only incidentally have these functions.”

For the present study, Velicer’s team set out to test whether kin discrimination could arise not as a result of competition between different bacterial strains, but independently between populations derived from a common ancestor and grown in isolation under different conditions. The researchers sampled from two cultures of M. xanthus that were genetically identical, save for a marker gene, and cultured them under 12 different conditions—variable agars and environments. The samples were left to grow on their respective plates for two weeks before the researchers transferred each sample to a new plate to repeat the process 18 or 40 times, depending on the environmental conditions.

The resulting populations showed kin discrimination against the population from which they were sampled in nearly two-thirds of the cases examined. Further, replicate populations grown under the same conditions—and selective pressures—also showed kin discrimination against one another in more than half of the team’s experiments.

To explore the genetic basis of kin discrimination, the researchers sequenced the genomes of the terminal populations and their progenitor cultures. They did not find a single mutation present in all populations that developed kin discrimination. Further, the team found that mutations associated with kin discrimination against a population’s progenitor culture in one strain also appeared in strains that did not exhibit kin discrimination.

“We often think of [organisms that show kin selection] as having a very similar strategy,” said Rafael Rosengarten, a postdoctoral researcher who studies kin discrimination in Dictyostelium in the lab of Gad Shaulsky at Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas. “This study almost makes it seem like there really isn’t a strategy.”

Race over Land

Rasse Uber Raum

Many people who understand the truth about the World Wars often use this map to show where Germany's true and Historical borders are.

But after thinking for a while I understand that the most important factor in a nation is it's people. Not necessarily the size of the country.

A country can expand and shrink and still be the same country in essence. Provided that the population inhabiting the country is the population that founded and built it.

Norway can shrink in size and still be Norwegian if the population that make up the country is etnically Norwegian.

Norway will not be Norwegian however if the population is foreign, even if we have all our historical territorries from Jemtland to Vinland.

After World War I German populations were forced to live in foreign countries. From areas near the border where they were the majority to minority populatons further out. Autrocities against these populations is what made Hitler take action to gain control over territorries where the Germans where in a majority.

He tried to do this with peaceful and diplomatic means over and over again but the international community refused his offers.

So Hitlers foreign policy was legitimate in this regard.

The allies knew this that it was the people that made up the nation, and had plans to completely exterminate the German people after WW2.

Europe responds to migrant crisis - with fashion

You see a suffering woman, who is also beautiful and despite her situation, has some high quality pieces of outfit

A Hungarian photographer was hit by a barrage of online abuse after publishing a migrant crisis-inspired fashion shoot on his website. The offending gallery has now been removed.

Predictably, celebritysoapbox went into meltdown. People said the shoot was “disgraceful,” “vile,” “sick” and “abusive.”

They claimed the expensive clothes and smart phone held by the model perpetuated the “damaging” impression migrants are well off rather than desperate refugees.

However, Monika Jablonczky, the embattled photographer, said people had reacted “without trying to understand the message.”

“The clothes were directly inspired by the refugees themselves as you see in news reports,” he told the Independent. …

“This is exactly what we wanted to picture,” he added. “You see a suffering woman, who is also beautiful and despite her situation, has some high quality pieces of outfit and a smartphone.

“Artists around the world regularly attract the public’s attention to current problems through ‘shocking’ installations and pictures. This is another example of such art.”

Sweden LOVES Immigrants

In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

When former prime minister Fredrik Reinfeldt in the defining moments of the election campaign of 2014 urged the public to open “their hearts” to more asylum seekers it proved that Sweden was different, or as some might put it ‘weird’.

Few conservative leaders would have done what Reinfeldt did at the time. There has been a strong consensus in Sweden among the established parties about the benefits of immigration. The kind of anti-immigrant rhetoric that has become norm in many other European countries has not filtered into the mainstream press.

The Sweden Democrats are excluded from influence in parliament through a deal Social Democratic prime minister Stefan Löfven did with the centre right over Christmas. The deal saved his government and has therefore been controversial within the centre right: “Why are we saving a Social Democratic government?” many conservatives have been asking themselves during the last six months. “Is it really that important to keep the Sweden Democrats away from influence?”

Reinfeldt’s successor as leader of the opposition, Anna Kinberg Batra, has however defended the deal very firmly.

The internal conflicts about how to handle the fact that around 18 per cent of the Swedish electorate say they would be voting for the Sweden Democrats are however not limited to the opposition.

Stefan Löfven is governing together with the Greens and the Social Democrats and their junior coalition partner tend to have different views about how to deal with the challenges posed by around 70,000 asylum seekers coming to Sweden every year. The Social Democratic finance ministry has proposed lower benefits for asylum seekers in order to keep costs in check. This was blocked by the Greens. The same thing happened with proposals for things like a ‘safe country of origin’ list, to speed up the denial of applications from people coming from countries not considered dangerous enough. This kind of tension within the government will probably not go away.

Meanwhile Löfven has been criticised for being invisible. Nobody can tell what his political project is. The question “Who is in charge?” is often asked about the government. And more worryingly: the country.

Löfven was an outsider; a well-liked and respected union man. Unfortunately he still struggles with how to be a politician.

The easiest way to fix his image problem would probably be to simply start governing. After all the strength of Swedish social democracy has always been its ability to take action. Not its ability to talk.

Sweden’s commitment to taking its responsibility for asylum seekers in Europe is important and admirable. It will however also cost money. Most of these costs are today carried by local authorities. Local politicians have demanded help from the central government for years and finally the government has opened negotiations with the opposition on the issue. They have also committed to more state money going to local authorities with a large number of refugees.

Another big problem is that many municipalities in the heavily decentralised Swedish system simply refuse to take any asylum seekers. These tend to be wealthy municipalities run by the centre right. The effect of this is a heavy concentration of refugees in certain areas of Sweden, in many cases with poorer residents and more social problems. Something needs to be done about this.

Sweden is also worse than comparative countries at getting immigrants and refugees into the labour market.

This is a huge problem and would require a lot of Social Democratic soul searching in order to fix. It can however be done.

Switch and Bait

>Germany and the European Union as a whole are hoping that Turkey will agree to curb migrant traffic to Greek islands, some of which lie just a few miles from the Turkish coast, and also to take back asylum-seekers whose claims for refugee status in the European Union get rejected.

>As an inducement, Brussels is offering to give billions of euros in extra European funding for Turkey and also to speed up visa-free access to Europe for Turkish citizens, a politically delicate issue at a time when most governments are scrambling for ways to limit, not expand, access to their countries.

>The union’s top executive, Jean-Claude Juncker said Thursday that talks with Turkey were “moving in the right direction” and officials here said Turkey had assented to a preliminary accord during talks Thursday in Ankara with Frans Timmermans, the Commission’s vice president.

>But national governments, many of which are reluctant to grant visa-free access to Turks, must now sign off on the terms of any agreement.

>Turkey, relishing the leverage that Europe’s desperation has given it, has driven a hard bargain, with Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu telling Turkish television that his county would not take back migrants rejected for asylum in Europe unless Turks were allowed to travel to Europe without visas.

>Under political pressure at home to curb an influx of asylum seekers to Germany, which now expects 1.5 million migrants in all this year, Ms. Merkel has increasingly looked to Turkey as a possible solution and is due to travel there on Sunday to appeal for help from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

https://archive.is/yfyPN

Turkey will get billions of funding in Euros.

Turkish citizens will be able to travel to europe visa free.

You are told this is to reduce immigrant invasion but that is not the only place that the foreigners are coming from.

And the real problems of millions of foreigners on the shores are all ignored.

" Many of them, moreover, do not think of themselves as “victims” in the broad sense of being inconvenienced by rules imposed by distant Eurocrats. Increasingly, Europeans are becoming victims in the more

narrow sense of the word—that is, victims of violent crimes: rape, assault, and robbery. That kind of victimhood has been a problem for quite a while. Sweden has long had the dubious distinction of having the

world’s second highest incidence of rape, and it’s estimated that over the last two decades, approximately one million English women and girls have been raped by (mostly mohamedmen) immigrants. The new wave of

mohamedmen immigrants—75 percent of whom are single males—seems likely to create many new rape victims. As Pat Condell, an acerbic YouTube commentator, puts it, “the European Union is importing a violent,

misogynistic rape culture that directly threatens the safety of women.” "

https://archive.is/bzYbN

While on the other hand you have a constant campaign by major news sources to tell you that theres only 40 000, maybe 68 000 "refugees" in total. We know for a fact that over a million migrants have arrived in Germany illegally this year and there are similar numbers in UK, and Sweden. This swarm of opportunists makes its way from the shores of greece and italy and from any way that they can find in. Some go around the far side of Russia to turn around and penetrate Sweden from the north.

Immigrant flood in Brittania

To date, Mr Cameron has said he wants to curb benefits for migrants, end ever-closer union and give national governments the power to block Brussels laws.

But London Mayor Boris Johnson broke cover at the Tory conference to urge the PM to go much further, demanding a cap on migrant numbers.

'It should be up to this parliament and this country – not to Jean-Claude Juncker – to decide if too many people are coming here,' Mr Johnson said.

'People do want British immigration policy made in Britain. That would give us control and if we had control there would be far less public anxiety.'

The Wycombe MP added: 'In a constituency like mine, that has a large community with families outside the European Union, they want to see a fair policy which applies equally where you are coming from outisde the UK.

'People don't have any faith in the common European citizenship policy. There are lots of lovely European people in the UK but we cannot go on with this lack of faith in the immigration policy.'

China Tensions Increasing

The events kick off Friday with an informal meeting of defense ministers from the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations known as ASEAN — four of which exercise claims to seas and islands in the South China Sea that clash with Beijing’s own. It is the first time China has hosted such a meeting.

That will be followed by the Xiangshan Forum, at which analysts, military leaders and others from around the globe will grapple with Asian-Pacific security, maritime issues and anti-terrorism.

“China wants to use these sorts of forums to promote China’s views, explain China’s policies and improve China’s security image,” said regional security expert Li Mingjiang of Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University

“Because the meeting is in Beijing, it would be hard for any country to confront China over the South China Sea,” Li said. “There’s also a lack of solidarity among ASEAN countries over the issue.”

To defuse concerns among ASEAN members, China needs to turn gatherings such as the Xiangshan Forum into venues for “a genuine two-way conversation,” rather than simply attempt to impose its own views, wrote US Defense Department analyst Kim Fassler in a recent paper for the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Fassler wrote that this includes “urging Beijing to explore how its actions contribute to narratives of China as an aggressor instead of a regional leader.”

United States naval vessels sailing through international waters in the South China Sea, including areas claimed by China or other nations, is not provocative and should surprise no one, the US Navy’s most senior uniformed officer said Thursday.

China claims most of the South China Sea and has warned it will not stand for violations of its territorial waters in the name of freedom of navigation.

The United States says international law prohibits claiming territory around artificial islands built on previously submerged reefs.

“It should not come as a surprise to anybody that we will exercise freedom of navigation wherever international law allows,” John Richardson, the US chief of naval operations, told reporters in Tokyo.

“I don’t see how this can be interpreted as provocative.”

Some analysts in Washington believe the United States has already decided to conduct freedom-of-navigation operations inside 12 nautical mile limits that China claims around islands built on reefs in the Spratly archipelago in the South China Sea.

US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said Tuesday the US military would sail or fly wherever international law allowed.

Richardson, who was promoted to his post last month, is in Japan at the start of a 12-day trip around Asia and Europe. Starting in Japan, he said, showed the importance of the alliance between the two countries.

China on Wednesday denied its island building in the South China Sea would “militarize” the area, after US and Australian defense and foreign ministers expressed concern during their annual meeting in Boston.

“China’s construction on the Nansha Islands serves mostly civilian purposes, helping deliver our international responsibilities and obligations and providing more public good,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying told a regular news briefing.

The lighthouses on Huayang and Chigua reefs went into operation on Oct. 10 and have significantly improved navigation safety in the South China Sea.

“Some countries flex their military muscles and hold frequent large-scale drills with their allies in the South China Sea, which is the most important factor militarizing the waters. China expresses serious concern over this,” she said.

China’s military deployment is “necessary, limited and defense-oriented,” Hua said.

The Real Failure of Common Core

Common Core testing obsessively while failing to teach

The Corporate Education Reform Industry and its allies like President Obama, Former President George W. Bush, presidential candidate Jeb Bush and Democratic governors Andrew Cuomo and Dannel Malloy have repeatedly claimed that the Common Core, the Common Core testing scheme, diverting scarce public funds to charter schools, privatizing public education and evaluating teachers based on the Common Core test results would be good for the nation’s public school students, their parents and the country’s future.

As a result of their ill-conceived policies billions of dollars in public taxpayer funds at the federal level and tens of millions of dollars here in Connecticut are being shifted away from classroom instruction so that corporate education reform companies can continue to make even more money. A new independent study authorized by Florida’s legislatures report recently reported that,

“[This year’s Common Core Test] passing scores were not established through a formal standard setting process and therefore do not represent a criterion-based measure of student knowledge and skills”

The statement is a condemnation of a failed testing system that some officials, especially here in Connecticut, continue to defend.

The new Florida report was authored by Alpine Testing Solutions and edCount, LLC and was conducted as a result of Florida House Bill 7069 which was signed into law on April 14, 2015.

The Florida law required that, “An Independent Verification of the Psychometric Validity of Florida’s 2015 Common Core testing program” be completed and that a reported on the issue be submitted by September 1, 2015 to Florida’s State Senate K-12 Education Committee. The development of the Common Core testing program in Florida is not unlike the situation in Connecticut.

Last year, as a result of growing public pressure, Florida’s Legislature and Governor tried to convince the public that by renaming their Common Core Program they were moving away from the centralized Common Core Standards and Common Core tests that were part of the SBAC and PARCC Common Core operation. SBAC and PARCC are the two national entities developing and managing the Common Core and Common Cores testing programs.

In the case of Florida, the name was changed to the Florida Standards Assessment, while in Connecticut Governor Malloy and the Connecticut General Assembly replaced the term “Common Core” with the softer, gentler notion that our state’s students were being buried by the, “Common Core State Standards in Connecticut.”

But in neither case was the change anything more than cosmetic.

https://archive.is/KprOj

Why the disagreements? Many conservatives are outraged at attempts to "federalize" the curriculum. Jeb Bush, an ardent supporter of Common Core, is being vilified for his support – with Donald Trump going so far as to say that support of Common Core will "kill Bush". Chris Christie, a vocal supporter of the Common Core in 2014, now says his views have "evolved" and opposes it. Ted Cruz chimes in, "We need to repeal every word of Common Core!" On the left, Hillary Clinton called the arguments around Common Core "very painful, because the Common Core started off as a bi-partisan effort," but she has avoided taking much of a position. Others on the left express concern about the increasing number of hours that will be spent on testing, lack of teacher preparation, and inadequate curriculum materials.

As with many issues in politics, very few people – even those with fierce opinions – understand what Common Core is or have actually plowed through the nearly 200 pages of the standards documents. And almost no one is asking the right questions: Are these the right standards? Will they increase or diminish students' motivation to learn? And, finally, how do we assess student performance against these standards?

In an effort to implement the policy mandate of "all students college ready," the Common Core state standards have been designed to align with college admissions requirements. Because colleges require all applicants to take advanced math – at least Algebra II – this is the math standard that all students in the country will now have to meet, requiring mastery of obscure algebraic procedures that the vast majority of adults never use. In English, high school student writing will be limited to essays on the assumption that skill in writing essays is what is required for college.

The ability to tell stories – an essential tool for making one's point in the adult world – is not in the curriculum.

https://archive.is/yJ9WR

So what is the alternative? Is Common Core, to paraphrase the old line about democracy, the worst system except for all the others?

It's a simple formula: fewer, higher, more flexible performance standards, which are developed and graded by real teachers, plus less formulaic testing and stress = more real learning.

ECONOMIC POWER IN LATIN AMERICA SHIFTING FROM BRAZIL TO MEXICO

Over the last year three key factors have weighed heavily on Latin American economies: The end of the U.S. Fed’s quantitative easing, which has brought about less favorable international funding conditions; the decline in commodity prices, which has depressed LatAm export revenues, and the Chinese economic slowdown, which also has hit commodity-exporting countries in the region. As a result, economic growth this year has been a huge disappointment. In January, the consensus forecast was for GDP growth of about 3%, but now expectations have fallen dramatically to a 0.4% contraction.

The impact of the shocks, though, has been uneven across the region, reflecting very different economic fundamentals in each country. Brazil, the biggest economy in the region, is the standout disaster area, suffering its worst recession in 25 years. This alone has been responsible for most of the sharp deterioration in growth expectations for LatAm as a whole. The list of problems in Brazil is daunting: Interest rates have rocketed in the face of high inflation; confidence has been depressed by corruption scandals; and the public finances are a mess. As a result, the labor market has fallen apart. Ultimately, these problems are the self-inflicted consequences of President Rousseff’s inappropriate populist policies, state interventionism, and a lack of real structural and fiscal reform. No one should have been surprised when Brazilian debt was downgraded to junk status in September by Standard and Poors, while the currency, the real, has lost about 30% this year against the dollar.

As a result of the appalling situation in Brazil, economic power in the region has shifted rapidly to Mexico, the second biggest economy in LatAm. Mexico’s growth has been hampered by the crash in oil prices but the economy is growing, by around 2% year-over-year, and the economic outlook is positive. Solid domestic economic fundamentals, and my expectation of a resilient and improving U.S. economy over the next year, should help push Mexican growth towards 2.5%.

Looking ahead, Mexico will remain one of the top performers in the region in 2016, but this does not mean that the economy is risk-free. Oil prices remain close to their lows, and consumer confidence has been battered by the drop in the value of the currency, which has pushed up the prices of imported durable goods.

Brazil faces external risks too, but it is much less well-equipped than Mexico to cope with them. I’m reasonably confident that the government eventually will deliver, but only slowly. Rousseff has to complete the job of structural reform—both fiscal and institutional—to improve the business and consumer climate. Together with monetary easing as inflation begins to subside, real reforms will help bring about gradual recovery later next year. In the meantime, though, investors in Brazil will continue to suffer.

Stop White Genocide

This global european genocide is not being carried out through mass murder – it is being carried out through political policies.

On October the 10th, protesters gathered outside the town hall in Sydney, Australia. The “Party for Freedom in Sydney” organized the protest to speak out against the extremely brutal mass murders in South Africa of which european people are specifically a target of.

“It is not a matter that is talked about often. It is never seen in the news. It isn’t discussed around the water-cooler.” wrote sydneytrads.com, which first reported on the protest.

“The murder of europeans in South Africa has a particularly savage element to it, above and beyond the merely criminal. It reeks of malice and racially motivated violence.”

“Some of the stories are truly horrific: a family brutally clubbed to death – save for the twelve year old son who was thrown into a scalding bath bound and gagged, whist the family dog was disemboweled.”

“A whole family cut up with an axe; a mother and daughter are raped and tortured seemingly for kicks; a man is stabbed 150 times and his wife and child shot at close range and other reports include the pouring of boiling water down the throats of an elderly couple and farmers being dragged behind vehicles. These are not mere acts of violence incidental to theft or other criminal activity.”

One eyewitness said “most of the people who yelled at us today were women, and all of them were european. I really don’t understand what they’re going on about. Why should the mass murder of europeans, many of whom are women and children, not be a cause for concern? That’s what we’re protesting about!”

Another person asked “do these people think we should be ignoring something that would be a cause of large scale public denunciations if it were perpetrated against, say, indigenous Australians? So it’s OK to treat europeans this way? Is that what I’m supposed to take from the abuse we got?”

Things are so bad in South Africa that one politician who was campaigning for presidency had to promise that there would “never be a european genocide” under his rule, after he was caught singing about shooting european people.

This is precisely why we all must stand united against european Genocide, not just in South Africa, but the one that’s taking place globally.

There is often some confusion to what we mean by this, let me explain. This global european genocide is not being carried out through mass murder – it is being carried out through political policies.

Firstly, majority european countries were all at the same time opened up to massive scale non-european immigration. Secondly “diversity” laws were put in place which are specifically meant to get more non-european people into european areas.

Both of these policies were put in place because there is a collective intent to get rid of european people, or at the very least, get rid of the european majority. This is european Genocide.

Nuclear Thermal Rockets

NASA is about to fund renewed research and experimentation into NTRs. Public approval will be hard

With the capability of generating high thrust and 100% more specific impulse than the best chemical rockets, the time and cost-saving potential of nuclear thermal rockets (NTR) for deep-space missions is once again gaining interest at NASA. Although never flown, the NTR concept is relatively simple. The rocket engine is based around a nuclear fission reactor, which heats the liquid hydrogen (LH2) propellant instead of igniting combustible fuel.

https://archive.is/wzK3R

The resulting hot gas is pumped into a separate high-pressure chamber, which, through valve 11 communicates with tube shocks. At the other end of the shock tube we find structed diffuser serves to concentrate the energy of the shock wave, and the valve 12, connecting tube with a nozzle rocket.

Duty cycle engine is as follows: pump 5 takes the working fluid from the reservoir and high-pressure pumps it through a reactor, where it evaporates and is heated to about 2500° C — and then injected into the high-pressure chamber. Shock tube at this point is still filled with gas of low pressure left over from the previous cycle. Then the valve 11 to quickly open, compressed gas, bursting into the pipe instantaneously compresses and heats the gas in the tube, causing the appearance in it of a strong shock wave.

A proposed space elevator stretching 12 miles into the stratosphere could cut out the need for rockets to shuttle astronauts into space, according to a proposal from a Canadian company.

It sounds like an idea out of a science fiction novel, but Thoth Technology has been granted a patent for an inflatable, pneumatically pressured tower stretching 12.5 miles high. The top of the so-called space elevator would serve as a liftoff point to space, potentially saving more than 30 percent of the fuel of a conventional rocket, according to the company.

"From the top of the tower, space planes will launch in a single stage to orbit, returning to the top of the tower for refueling and reflight," Brendan Quine, the inventor of the ThothX Tower, said in a statement.

By removing the need for the vertical launch of a rocket, energy can be saved, allowing space passengers to catch a horizontal flight, much like a passenger plane, from the top of the space elevator.

Aside from being a final stop for astronauts before heading out of this world, Quine wrote in a filing with the United States Patent Office that the tower could help with wind-energy generation, communications, scientific research and tourism.

While it's just an idea for now, the patent moves it one step closer to potentially being another way to revolutionize space travel.

A potential advancement in the United States’ electric propulsion capability for the future of spaceflight is being underscored by a new NASA contract to support work on the VASIMR project – short for the Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket.

VASIMR works with plasma, an electrically charged gas that can be heated to extreme temperatures by radio waves and controlled and guided by strong magnetic fields.

Ad Astra Rocket Company announced today that it has completed contract negotiations with NASA on the group’s Next Space Technology Exploration Partnerships (NextSTEP) award and are now entering the execution phase of the project.

Long duration, high-power test

Under the award, Ad Astra is to conduct a long duration, high-power test of an upgraded version of the VX-200™ VASIMR prototype, the VX-200SS (“SS” for steady state), for a minimum of 100 hours continuously at a power level of 100 Kilowatts.

Testing will be conducted in Ad Astra’s large, state-of-the-art vacuum chamber in the company’s Webster, Texas facility.

The NASA and Ad Astra executed the contract — a three-year, fixed price agreement — on August 7, 2015 for a total value of just over $9 million.

The agreement is structured as a one-year contract with two additional one-year extensions based on the accomplishment of mutually agreed upon progress milestones, Ad Astra added in their press statement.

NASA’s Advanced Exploration Systems Program sponsors NextSTEP awards in a 50/50 cost partnership with industry.

Former astronaut, Franklin Chang Díaz, serves as Chairman of the Ad Astra Board and Chief Executive Officer – a space traveler with NASA for 25 years and a veteran of seven space shuttle flights.

North Africa & Middle East Updates

The trash crisis has ignited the largest Lebanese protests in years and has emerged as a festering symbol of the government's paralysis and failure to provide basic services. It was sparked by popular anger over the heaps of trash accumulating in Beirut's streets after authorities closed the capital's main landfill on July 17 and failed to provide an alternative.

The protests quickly moved beyond just the trash in the streets to target an entire political class that has dominated the country and undermined its growth since the civil war ended in 1990. Lebanon has a confessional power-sharing system that often leads to incessant bickering and cronyism among the country's politicians.

Thousands of people have taken part in huge demonstrations over the past two weeks. Among other things, they are demanding new parliament elections, to be followed by presidential elections.

The country has been without a president for over a year, and members of parliament have illegally extended their term twice amid disputes over an election law.

After meeting for three and a half hours, leaders of Lebanon's various sectarian blocs issued a brief statement, saying the talks would resume in a week.

"They did not even bother to meet tomorrow or the day after, they postponed it for a week and came out without any decision," said Assaad Thebian, an organizer with the main group behind the protests, which calls itself "You Stink."

"They showed that they are indifferent and should not be in leadership positions," he told The Associated Press.

"This dialogue is a joke. They are meeting to see how they can split the cheese," said Marwan Basha, a 57-year-old engineer taking part in the sit-in near parliament, as riot police stood nearby. His T-shirt had Arabic words on the front, asking: "Where is the water, where is the electricity, where are the job opportunities?"

On the barbed wire that separates protesters from the building, activists pinned a large banner with the pictures of the 128 members of parliament reading: "You have failed at everything … Go Home."

So far, the only response to the growing protest movement has been a promise by the parliament speaker, Nabih Berri, for the high-level talks among the politicians.

His call has been backed by the main political leaders, who attended the meeting Wednesday, but it was unclear how such talks among the same veteran politicians being vilified by the protesters would help break the deadlock.

The leaders are deeply divided over core issues, such as what a new election law would look like, and whether it should be passed before or after a president is elected.

Prosthetics for kids

Children get prosthetics

When you hear Kabula Nkarango Masanja's story, the idea that she could smile seems unimaginable.

"In 2010, I was sleeping with my mom," Kabula said. "To the room, two men came inside."

The 17-year-old girl from Tanzania lost her right arm five years ago. She was hunted in her homeland by human poachers for her albinism - a condition that leaves her with little to no pigment in her skin, eyes and hair.

She said the two men attacked her with a machete, cutting off her entire arm.

"They kept it," she said.

In Tanzania, albino body parts can sell for thousands of dollars on the black market. It's believed - by some - the parts hold supernatural powers and can be used in potions to bring good luck and wealth to the consumer.

Between 2000 and 2014, the United Nations reported that the country had seen more than 150 cases of attacks on people with albinism.

Elissa Montanti runs the Global Medical Relief Fund, a nonprofit she founded in Staten Island 17 years ago to help kids injured by war or natural disasters receive prosthetics. Her organization was featured on "60 Minutes" in 2011.

"I have never, never experienced anything like this before," Montanti said. "I've seen kids that have kicked a can and it exploded, dangled from a tree in Indonesia from the tsunami, the earthquake in Haiti. But this is something unimaginable."

Earlier this year, Montanti read of an attack on 5-year-old Baraka Cosmas Lusambo. Men broke into his family's home in March while he was asleep.

"They hit my mother twice on her head," Baraka said in Swahili, through a translator. "Then they came to me. They cut off my hand."

Montanti brought Baraka, Kabula and three other children to the United States from Tanzania in June to receive prosthetics. The five children received their prosthetics at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

"I feel good because it is going to help me in many different areas, which I cannot do with one hand," Kabula said.

"They will be able to grasp to pick up a pen, to write, to pick up a fork and eat," Montanti said. "This will definitely make them feel more whole, give them a sense of empowerment."

When they return home, they will be sheltered in safe houses run by Under the Same Sun - a Canadian organization that protects people with albinism in Tanzania.

Montanti plans to bring the children back to the United States as they grow to get their prosthetics refitted.

"There will be lots of tears, but I know I'm going to see them again," Montanti said.

Environmentalists Getting Murdered in Brazil

The killers came from the forest, the very same forest Raimundo Santos Rodrigues so loved.

The environmentalist had spent years defending one of the last pristine swathes of the eastern Amazon rain forest from loggers, miners and farmers. But his activism had earned him enemies in Brazil’s northern state of Maranhão.

And on Tuesday afternoon, those enemies pounced.

Santos Rodrigues and his wife were riding their motorbike from the market back to the Biological Reserve of Gurupi when two men suddenly emerged from the treeline, witnesses told local media. As the couple crossed a bridge, the gunmen opened fire, hitting both the environmentalist and his wife.

To ensure their objective, the assassins ran up to Santos Rodrigues and stabbed the injured man to death. His wife, Maria da Conceição Chaves Lima, was rushed to the hospital and is expected to live.

Santos Rodrigues had been a “marked” man because of his environmentalism, said a man who spoke to G1 anonymously for fear of also being targeted.

“Loggers hated him because he denounced them,” said a co-worker, also anonymously. “He was very active in the region, defending the community, attending the Union of Rural Workers of Bom Jardim.”

Officials have promised a thorough investigation and are treating the murder as an attack on a public official. Santos Rodrigues was a volunteer with the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation, part of the Ministry of the Environment.

“It will be treated with top priority,” said Alexandre Saraiva, a federal police superintendent.

But that promise appears hollow against the bloody reality in Brazil, widely considered the most dangerous country on earth for environmentalists.

Between 2002 and 2013, at least 448 environmentalists were killed in Brazil, according to Global Witness. That equates to roughly half of all the environmentalists murdered worldwide during that period.

According to local watchdog CPT, the grim tally is even worse: More than 1,500 Brazilians have been killed over the past 25 years fighting deforestation, and another 2,000 have received death threats, Men’s Journal reported in 2012.

Last year, 29 Brazilian environmentalists were murdered, again more than any other country, according to Global Witness.

The reasons behind Brazil bewildering conservationist killing spree are simple. The country’s land ownership is “among the most concentrated and unequal in the world,” leading to conflicts between subsistence farmers or indigenous groups and “well-connected landowners over who has the legal right to forests and land,” according to Global Witness.

“Magnates buy off local politicians and policemen, and kill anyone who challenges their agricultural practices,” according to Men’s Journal.

As in the slaying of Santos Rodrigues, environmentalists are in most danger inside or at the edges of the Amazon. The giant rain forest — which some activists fear will be half gone by 2030 — is the site of 68 percent of all such murders, according to Global Witness. First the trees are cut down by loggers, which then opens the land up to cattle ranchers, soy farmers or miners.

“Many people from the logging and mining companies think the only way to solve problems is by killing the people who defend the forest,” federal prosecutor Felício Pontes told Men’s Journal.

Like the Amazon itself, the problem of violence against environmentalists is shared by many Latin American countries. Last year, at least 25 environmentalists were killed in Colombia, according to Global Witness. Honduras (12), Peru (9), Guatemala (5), Paraguay (3) and Mexico (3) also reported multiple murders of conservationists in 2014.

Although more than 80% of the killings were in Latin and Central America, Asian environmentalists are also at great risk. Fifteen Filipinos were killed in 2014, followed by Thailand (4), Indonesia (2) and Myanmar (2), again according to Global Witness.

Almost none of these murders are ever solved, the group says. A 2014 Global Witness report found that 908 activists were killed in 35 countries between 2002 and 2013, yet there were only 10 convictions.

“What feeds the violence is the impunity,” Isolete Wichinieski, national coordinator of the Brazilian group Commisão Pastoral da Terra, told the Guardian.

Venom used to Heal

Toxin into Brain to Heal it from Cancer

A study has found over a hundred proteins identified as possible anti-cancer agents in Centruroides tecomanus scorpion venom from Colima, south-west state of Mexico.

The preliminary investigation was carried out by specialists of the faculty of chemistry at the University of Colima (UCOL), who have identified peptides that destroy cancer cells in vitro.

Laura Leticia Valdez Velazquez, head of research, said that when the toxin, derived from scorpion venom, invades channels in the cells with this disease, it produces cellular damage and kills the cells.

"We have identified a highly selective group of peptides, which indicates that they could specifically bind to cancer cells and cause their death," she indicates.

Centruroides tecomanus species is one of the most poisonous scorpions in the country. The UCOL already has the genetic sequences of the protein components of the venom.

The scientific team took advantage of the great number of scorpions found in Colima. They began with the collection and extraction of poison, inoculating and immunizing rabbits. They studied the venom with the support of Lourival Possani, from the Institute of Biotechnology of the National Autonomous University od Mexico (UNAM).

The researcher explains that UCOL undertook the task of characterizing each component from the arachnid toxins, among the most poisonous on the continent. Currently, it has identified a group of 10 peptides in order to evaluate whether they have greater toxic effect against lymphoma cells.

"The venom toxins act on ion channels of the cancer cell damaging them. Our interest is for the cell to be selectively removed. We have found that these peptides have affinity with these cells, and could specifically bind to them and induce cancer death."

In parallel, the research team of the UCOL conducted a study on the effect of scorpion venom in models of Parkinson's disease.

People with Parkinson's are affected because neurons are damaged and dopamine production is inhibited. The team has tested the scorpion venom toxins in animal models, noting that these toxins are attached to receptors on dopaminergic neurons and increase the release of dopamine, with future promising effects for sufferers of this disease.

It’s been pointed out that while the paint helps during surgery, it’s the surgery part that needs to be replaced completely if possible. Surgery is always going to inflict damage even if it does remove the tumor completely and save someone’s life. However, if you’ve got a substance that makes its own way to the brain tumor through the blood stream, maybe it can be adapted in the future to also take some tumor-killing drugs along with it and remove surgery from the equation.

The advantage of exploring specific toxins is how selective they are when attaching to their targets within the body – minimizing the potential for unwanted side effects.

"Toxins have evolved for millions of years to target a specific receptor," says Manjunatha. Also important is their potency, as just a small amount can have fatal effects.

Nationalism and Its Effects on Peace in Europe

With global crisis, unemployment, dissatisfaction, poverty and intolerance has increased and with it also nationalism. Political parties with nationalist platforms are rising and gaining more support around the world and Europe is no exception.

In Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom and across Europe we can see the rise of the right. The financial crisis in the Eurozone and beyond has triggered rising of nationalists and far-right political parties.

The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) on 9th of July released a report about the dramatic increase in anti-Semitism, mohammedismophobia, online hate speech and xenophobic political discourse as the main trends in 2014.

Nationalism can be positive with legitimacy, promotion of nations and inspiration for citizens or negative by creating tensions between different ethnicity and groups in or outside the country. Some negative aspects of ideology or political movement can be seen in the latest football matches in the Balkans, where supporters of team groups have burned many national flags and hooliganism that is the result of long lasting hatred and nationalism on the ground. Every country has its own history and different positions, but still simiIarities could be found.

The country aII news is regarding to in recent times is Greece. A known slogan “Greece for Greeks” is well known in its anti-austerity party. Attacks against minorities and immigrants with racism are seen in one of the European Union (EU) members. Golden Dawn neo-Nazi party is linked to hundreds of violent attacks against minorities.

It is known for anti-immigration, racist-nationalist worldview. With elections being held this year in January the party captured 6.3% of the vote and 17 senate seats in Hellenic parliament and become the country’s third largest party. In 2014 the party won 9.4% of votes in European parliamentary election and with it 3 seats out of 21.

The party has been put on a trial this year for its criminal activity.

Nationalism in Greece has divided citizens and noncitizens to us and them and created the gap between both. With the economic crisis, Greeks debt, overall economic meltdown, unemployment and increasing number of refugees from different countries, the party led by Nikos Michaloliakos has gained more support and caused even greater intolerance to foreign people in need. Unfortunately, they are not the only one spreading intolerance. Many politicians have a stance against immigrants, which shapes the Greeks’ attitude towards nationalism.

Are you not entertained?

He abducted her.
She was not some racemixer.

>Nearly four months after his arrest in the disappearance of a missing University of Virginia student, Jesse Matthew Jr. has been indicted on a murder count in the case — but he won't face the death penalty and still isn't charged in the death of another student to which he's tied.

>Jesse Matthew Jr., 33, was indicted on the first-degree murder charge Monday, Albemarle County prosecutor Denise Lunsford said Tuesday. Matthew already was charged with abduction with intent to defile in the case. Hannah Graham, 18, disappeared in September and was found dead in Albemarle County a few weeks later.

>Lunsford declined to say why Matthew was not charged with the higher count of capital murder, which would have carried a possible death-penalty sentence. The abduction and first-degree murder charges are punishable by up to life in prison.
