Banning is the most effective solution. It states that the board culture does not tolerate that content and has no ability for it to be here what so ever. Furthermore, just asking the shills to go away didnt work on 4chon, 4chan, 8chan/pol, and wont work on polpol. We need to fight back.

You need to realize that the shills can never be tolerated in even a single post, never a single thread, and never a volunteer or mod position and of course, never a board owner position.

You need to realize that the shills will use any tactic to get their foot in the door, to make their posts heard, to say that pol is mostly libertarians, to say that if we dont like it we should make our own board. Shills are jews acting on their zionist zealot zeal to genocide white aryans, their racial enemy and will use any means necessary even using and taking over, subverting online forums to ensure their enemy either uses futile methods/propaganda. Or, has no ability to fight back due to being utterly controlled or policed by their people in key positions.

You need to remember the stakes of the war we are in, that even small events, little things like posting a pair of ringing hands on a website can pread into massive memes that can take over the internet very quickly.

That is why they produced dozens of documents, that is why they recorded our every post, that is why they studied our culture so finely, that is why they just couldn't stop themselves from subverting us as much as possible. They are evil. They are inhuman. They are the Jews. They will never stop attacking us, subverting us, or trying to get control of us.

Then, we need to purge the entire forms of the jewish shill parasites, and stop them from spreading. Finally we need to take control and develop tactics to stop the shills from doing this to us or anyone else.

Then we can get our /pol/ back. Only then will we be free from the Jews evil plan to destroy the world.

Ignoring them would make this place like /pol/ , meaning whenever a usefull thread usually about current events is created trolling will ofcourse begin. At first no one is gonna react but eventually someone's gonna bite and thats how the threads go downhill.
I don't know if /pol/ has any left, but if you can check the Ukraine war threads, OP posts thousands of links and stuff, giving his own opinion, wanting a discussion and the 3rd post is always the same guy, posting Putin with jews, who derails the entire thread.

its better to be banned, BUT only for a small period of time , a week or so. I remember when a tthe beggining some guy came and made a post about how shitty this place is, and after an hour he actually came back and apologisez , saying it ain't so bad after all -> polacks come to troll us, but some of them realise that they like this place, by banning them for a long time, we are banning people who might eventually stay here.

If you don't moderate, a board becomes just a name. There's literally no value to it besides the URL. "board culture" is irrelevant, because the exodus proved that board culture can easily move across sites let alone across boards.

Unmoderated boards are worthless. You can always start a new board without rules if you want to, it takes no effort. Having a moderator team with a decent track record is a whole different matter.

Warn first and then ban if they keep doing it after being warned. If they are spamming or doing shit like playing both sides, then screencap their posts and delete. If banning these faggots gives them ammo, then so should them spamming us give ammo back.

And even though Benji banned people for what they say and for not lurking, nobody calls /baphomet/ a hugbox, even though it clearly is (not saying /baphomet/ is bad but it does meet this criteria). This exactly the same thing that happens when vidya developers try to pander to SJWs: the SJWs weren't going to play the vidya anyway and now neither is the original fanbase. Hate from both sides because the people whining about /pol/ being a hugbox don't do it because of freedom of speech, they do it because they aren't getting things their way. If the /pol/ mods were to ban "stormfaggotry" and "tinfoil", then all of a sudden people would start being ok with /pol/ being a hugbox and would even go out of their way to defend it as such.

Best-case scenario: all the mods lost 50 IQ points over the weekend

Worst-case scenario: they actually managed to infiltrate the moderation

I want to know if the /polpol/ mods are going to post proof of shilling the same way as shown above. Knowing shills and their strategies better is always useful, meaning that if mods provide additional evidence then it would help greatly.

I was just pointing out that pol still has vols that have some weird thing with misdirecting away from organized shilling. Also "trypt" chose to identify himself, and then went on to crash /pol/. There's something really really wrong if he still works there, and board owner is still mysteriously quiet or "slow" to react.

We're here because of the divergence of this philosophy between /pol/ and /polpol/ mods. /pol/ likes shitposters and wants you to ignore them. /polpol/ hates shitposters and bans them.
