I for one am happy the states are resisting the god awful government mandates. Even if it is not full separation, rejecting the federal reserve would be great.
The southern states seem to be the ones leading again. Texas and 25 other states challenging the executive actions of Obama on immigration. Alabama chief justice rejecting the a lower federal judges ruling on gay marriage and ordering judges not to issue licenses until the SCOTUS rules otherwise. Alabama senator Sessions laying out over 200 examples of federal governments over reach on immigration.
The state drug laws in some of the western states that are in direct violation of federal law, yet feds do nothing.
Anyone else have more examples of states rejecting federal overstep?

I'm not sure entirely how that country works but it's important to note that they are the only country that has any sort of direct democracy.
Note that Ron Paul also mentions a few times that any sort of government needs approval from 51% of the people. Though simply not doing anything automatically means you support what the government is doing; this reminds me of a personal favourite quote of mine 'the only thing required for evil to win is for good people to do nothing'
So if you really want those sort of things to happen then you're gonna have to lead or expand on a movement to eventually get a large enough support to subvert the powers that be… Or do fucking SOMETHING other than nothing.
