Is this something similar to /nambia/?

If so then Greenland sounds like a pretty damn good location for it

Are you actually getting ready to actually go there and make settlements on the land? If so, sweet.

Copy-pasted from the board

Hey /greenland/, only just heard about this board. I can't find much info or planning, so I have a suggestion. How about we obtain land in Greenland, perhaps by giving money to a resident there who will buy us the land and rent it to us. With the money from renting they buy us more land, and we rent it out cheap to more of our fellow people? I took the idea from how the hamlet of Jamel in Germany became a natsoc community. For a while I have been pondering how such a community could work, and I would like to discuss more and find out more about this.

Anon who is visiting is going to try to find out how you can buy land. People are deserting because there are better opportunities elsewhere (they can live in Denmark on welfare in a much better setting). I guess it is kind of sad that the snow friend are losing their heritage/traditions/customs/pride because of globalization and are just getting drunk and on welfare like every other "natives" in the world.

pic related example:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narsaq_Kujalleq

Narsarmijit, smallest village in the south, population was 97 in 2010 now its half that at about 40-50

Now check out the photos of the village, there has to be 30+ houses for only 50 people (assume 10 families of 5). You could probably just waltz in and buy it up or rent so cheaply.

When the board owner comes back. Maybe the gov got him. We're still compiling info elsewhere, and organising stuff.

>>14379

We've made an organisation in order to go there and plant trees, plants and increase the population of the wildlife there. This will be funded by the government, just as a project to do similar things was funded by them a couple years back, and it was successful.

The difference is, we will be able to do it for their benefit, and to make the area hospitable to live in by having the essential resources, fruits, veg, animal products and wood.

Update on the land thing is already posted in >>/greenland/

It is not possible to own land in Greenland, but any citizen OR foreigner is able to ask the government for the use of unclaimed land for a purpose (most likely it has to be a good reason that will benefit the country). It seems that either a) the whole country is a reserve or b) the govt hates private property (they are heavily socialist after all).

We can either petition the govt for a spot of land we deem good enough (once we find it) or we can take over an abandoned village that already has infrastructure (these are almost always left over snow friend villages and tend to be in shitty locations for farming, because the natives didnt farm).

The later option would probably be best. Creating new infrastructure would be extremely difficult, though I don't know how low-tech we're planning on this being.

>>14501

Government should give us permission, they gave permission to a similar successful project not many years ago.

>>14507

We were contemplating moving to the abandoned villages while we develop the place there. This would be even easier because we have people from Nordic countries who are allowed to settle there without the use of visas. Quite a few of the laws are pretty lax because of the low declining population and small economy.
