>FBI: "Some guy hacked a planes control system via hacking into the cabins entertainment system"

How in the hell are the two systems possibly connected in any way? That can't possibly be the case.

This is obvious bullshit. My guess is this is a renewed push for 'how dangerous computers and the internet are. We need more security! Government save us!!!'

I posted this on /pol/ but it's getting fucking skilled like none other.

Batteries dying don't have time to archive. Pic not related don't have enough juice to look for one.

Yes, I also think that the cyber attacks trend is a huge false flag, and the main reason is to censure internet.

ALSO! Very important! - /polpol is also being targeted by these people! They create "innocent" threads that contribute nothing to the discussion with the sole purpose of sliding down the real content! This strategy is perfect for this board, because it is not a much active one, and deplete it from good threads would kill it without effort!

PAY ATTENTION!

Yea.. We (all of the /pol/acks on all boards) seem to be really losing the battle as of late. Critical thought seems to have gone to the wayside and obvious shill posts get all the replies. It seems like /pol/ actually has more shills than actual users at this point. It also seems like the strategy of the shills has been polished and they are pretty good at blending in now and subverting any worthwhile threads/efforts. It really fucking sucks because Average Joe is waking up but taking the controlled opposition red pill while we bicker over bullshit shill topics and allow them to be once again led from the path of light and back to sleep.

I mean.. Go on /pol/ right now all the decent threads are stuck sliding to page 6 or deeper and the first 3 pages are absolute garbage.

It was my understanding that because of the weight issues all systems are linked. So instead of running separate wires for the entertainment and for flight control all systems are send through the same cables.

While being a HORRIBLE design choice I can see this happening. But even so, the data packages from entertrainment/security/flight control need seperate encoders sitting completely shelled from each other in order to have any kind of security. I dont believe having access to the entertainment node could give you the ability to manipulate any control services since your input would be straight out ignored by all other systems that arent directly linked to the node.

How can isolating things translate to a weight issue? Entertainment system has it's own computer, screen and sound system. The only additional wires require are those running to the power source. The

Right there you should seriously doubt the claim made.

Unless there is physical verifiable evidence to back up the claim and that evidence can be seen and investigated, do not trust anything the government says.
