Just like every other time it brought a socialist utopia? Marx too had thought that economic collapse would bring about a Communist revolution, but the way it happened for the USSR was through war. For the Russians it had occured because the Marxists had coopted a different revolt, which was by soldiers that were forced to fight for the Tzar in shit conditions and sometimes even against their own people. Other countries only managed to do so through USSR "support".

Just keep waiting for that utopia, it will certainly not be the imaginary idea of the "state of the proleteriat", neither the authoritarian version (which happens almost every single time) nor the utopic version (which can only realistically happen in small populations, not entire countries). And no, simply saying "technology will fix it" does not actually address it, Marx too had thought that science and technology had advanced far enough for the workers to be able to live in a global Communist state, so you are going to have to put more on the table than "muh internet, 3D printing, robots and electronic voting".

Depends how bad it hits. If it's a repeat of 2008 nothing will change. If someone screws up or the computers get hit then they may be chaos for a while, but I don't know if it will ever crash.

There won't be any revolution for a long time, maybe a few groups getting their own territory or so but nothing major, people are no longer able of such things and those who are are to few to make it.

Anarchistic socialism has proven itself to be incapable of functioning at a country-wide scale, only incredibly small communities like the Amish have managed to make it work well, this is the sole reason why whenever ANYONE non-leftist mentions "socialism" that they never mean Marx's retarded imaginary utopia.

Authoritarian socialism has proven itself to be incredibly inefficient, thus bleeding itself to death in the long run. The only two options for this sort would be a welfare state or slavery, this too has been the result in practice.

The middle ground is what we have right now in the West, which is working just fine :^)

And before you suddenly start shouting "b-but it wasn't REAL Communism", the definition I am using here is "the redistribution of goods, services and means of production from the upper class to the lower class", which is what it boils down to in any case. Vague shit like "Workers own the means of production" is poorly phrased because it can be twisted any way you want to deflect criticism without addressing it.
