In less than six months, Americans have now seen the biggest and baddest of news organs fighting the stigmas attached to pedophilia, zoophilia and now incest. The last few years has witnessed a push for cuckoldry whether as a cool thing for the intelligentsia or something fun to try. This is along with pushing gays and now trans* on Americans. Those pushes are in conjunction but came after pushing interracial relations and even MILFs. Pornography has been pushing all of this as well. This is a decades long push to destroy the Christian safeguards on sexual behavior for building civilization. Why would the media do this? Maybe the media's representation has something to do with it. Is there a group out there that is gay at double the rates of others? Marries outside there group by over 50%? Maybe a weird circumcision ritual involving "oral suction" on young boys? Maybe a famous thinker of their tribe created an idea about being hot for mom? Does a group set their religion only through matrilineal descent, because you can never be sure of who daddy is? Does the group have a history as nomadic herdsmen with their flocks of sheep and long nights in the desert? Is this giant push of degeneracy just a way to call it all normal so that we view their customs as not completely demented and deranged? Yes.

I'd say genetics align with culture and create the framework- ie. Human societies are based on food, breeding, curiosity and controlled violence as a genetic necessity. Beyond that genetics create compulsions and preferences (aggressive arabs, honest Finns, dishonest jews etc.). Yet the key part is that all those compulsions and preferences can be overruled or enforced by the person or societal pressure (ideals, law, group psychology etc).

Orthodox Christianity is the solution, but there first needs to be a reconciliation between the protestant and catholic churches. It would be impossible to go east and further west at the same time. The next happening should increase ties between Rome and america or england or scandinavia. From a geographical point of view, it would seem that the whole affair was a result of a distance from rome and people being physically able to do their own thing outside of rome's influence. In this day and age, physical distance is irrelevant. How this occurs is going to be difficult though because there is no established leader in the protestant world. There are the occasional bishops of the anglican and lutheran churches, and also the dutch reformed, so that could be a good start, but for the american baptists and things, that's another story.

How does this take place? Probably by a recognition of the common problems facing both the catholic church and the protestant church, and that only together can they hope to defeat these problems. These problems will probably include decreasing church attendance, physical threats such as isis and terrorism and degeneracy. As these problems get worse, the urgency for unity to solve the problem increases. Of course, it is entirely possible for either church to keep going in the opposite direction, but, as the old maxim goes, insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

It always seems that a happening is needed to create change on earth. Hopefully we can get a big one soon. Although i should clarify that the challenges facing western christianity are a long time in the making and probably won't 'erupt' into a major happening. It may be that the 'happening' could be quite spread out
