Install GreaseMonkey or similar script addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ Then install the ViewTube script http://isebaro.com/viewtube/?ln=en
See the website, you can select WebM from the drop-down menu, then click Get to get the file. For short videos you'll usually get WebMs under 8MB like I just did with this video.
