Regular /pol/tards throw that shit around way too much and before you know it calling someone a shill becomes a substitute for attempting to refute an argument.

This is very bad. It is contrary to what /pol/ stands for.

/polpol/ on the other hand has been pretty good about this, as was so when it was just /pol/ right after the first exodus.

We've got a second chance here, let's make it right. It starts with self discipline (not an easy thing when you're dealing with people on the internet).

Shills often use talking points taken directly from scripts. Many will recognize "Us blue eyed blonde aryan christians will not fall for your taqiyah Ahkmed" as a scripted response spammed over and over on halfchan.

Another example will be to label anyone criticising Israel, for example, as a Muslim by saying "shut up, ahkmed." while at the same time the same poster or another will begin to post "DEATH TO ISRAEL! ALLAHU AKBAR! TAKBIR! TAKBIR!" in the same thread or another thread to create the impression that the anti-Israeli posters are all indeed crazed Muslims to a neutral party.

These are some of the many examples of shilling, and this is not even touching board disruption tactics.

This is a textbook definition of a shill thread. My disagreement with the post has nothing to do with it being a shill thread. The fact is that thread was made with the intention of swaying those sitting on the fence on racial issues to a multicultural outlook. Instead of noting and respecting the recent achievements of East Asian peoples the OP jumps straight to essentially saying the European race is inferior, and that they should breed themselves out of existence with East Asians. The OP completely ignores the historical and contemporary scientific achievements of European derived people, and goes straight into claiming European's self-determination and continued existence is worthless.

It is literally posting with an agenda.

My issue lies when someone posts a comment agreeing with a liberal or pro-jewish premise and is met with 1000 "shill" replies. I'm neither of those things, but we owe it to ourselves and the poster to state a proper dissent.

The only way to win is having good mods. Self moderation is not possible on a chan. If you have to ask what shilling is, you have to lurk more. Mostly, they're doing their disruption program on /pol/ sites.

We don't know their base, so we can't even counter attack.

The only method we have is mods that brutally squash any opposing viewpoints. Hugbox? Maybe. But every forum in the history of the net has acted that way or perished. It's your decision.
