59da3f No.7248
I have an suggestion how we can keep the quality and strenght of our community high.
The idea is that several boards who share similar subject matter work together to promote each other.
I would suggest making a sticky post on the top of the board and then locking it.
The sticky would contain links to partnerboards like /pdfs/, /natsoc/, /fash/, maybe /pen/, etc.
Those boards would then also promote those boards and our board. That way people can quickly move from one board to another and cross-post.

Nothing else to contribute right now but I will start looking for other boards

A list of potential pol board:
/polmeta/ and /metapol/ - maybe
/liberty/ most likely not a good idea
/ebola/ I see no connection with pol culture anymore
/britannia/ not sure what this is? Imperialistic?
/polarchive/ we should try to get them on our list
/his/ maybe
/nation/ not sure what this is, but a potential ally.
/namibia/ a good one, we clearly share some goals.

>>7272There are tow reasons /christian/ would not fit in.
1. It's a larger board.
2. each partner would promote the other partners and most members on /christian/ would never accept boards like /polpol/
A christian conservative board would be welcome though.

>>7248Bad idea. Separation of /pol/ is exactly what the /int/ weebs want.
We need to unify ourselves. Yes, still separate from shit/pol/ but we need to gather all the sub-pols made after the mod fiasco in /pol/
That way this board will rise in popularity and at the same time keep all of the loyal posters from /pol/
Instead, tell the less popular boards to join us. Gather any of the remaining stragglers and bring them here, where we can be one.

8chan is going to create a new breed of /pol/acks one free from the previous constraints placed out it by moot, cripplekike and the mod cabal previously we were a caged opponent a condition /int/ wants to return us to.
This union will help us become more immune to raiders and infiltrators as well as fomenting new creative forces
At least that.s what I hope for.

c0188a No.8324
This isn't a good idea.
When you do this you put the onus on another party to keep up the quality, and when one of the partnered boards inevitably turns into shitpost central, they've got a big sign saying they're welcome here.
This is a similar scenario to the /pol/ vols during the "we want the /int/ crowd" shitstorm, only this time it will be a different board.
Let people come of their own accord. The board is on the top 25, it can't be missed. If people want to come here they will come here, while board promotion only ever serves to bring in the less interested and lower quality posters.
5f04e9 No.8333
>>8324Our mods remain firm as long as they don't allow raids we will be fine
board friendships will help with operations and creativity on things outside of /polpol/s purview like /pdfs/ being a repository of useful knowledge for /pol/acks.
c0188a No.8342
>>8333Shit like /pdfs/ I can understand, but the mass wealth of /(blank)pol/ boards being suggested is stupid. We have /polpol/ and we have /offtop/, we don't need thousands of boards for individual countries or ideologies being promoted.
Supporting boards as suppositories for /polpol/ content is fine, advertising other boards designated for specific discussion which could easily occur here isn't. For example, we don't need to advertise /britpol/ when we could already have good threads about British politics. There's no need to advertise more than a handful of reference boards.
>>7511>/politic/ (spam shill board)This was hilarious right. I'm the BO for /politic/, and within like an hour of me creating it, it was spammed by shitposters.
I made it to reserve the name, don't bother with listing it.
