The previous one is autosaging and is gonna 404 eventually. Might as well make a new one sooner than later.

I love how you can remove that whole derpy part from the episode and you wouldnt notice anything missing in the story.

The episode might have been better for it, or at least if they filled it in with something else.
Anyways webm related was the best thing to come out of that episode.

When Tiarawhy does things that aren't pr0n, she inspires things that aren't pr0n either.
Tiara, WHY‽

Bump with content I didn't make & you've seen before.
Because tonight … Tonight you'll know this thread has been bumped, and with Skruffy at my side you'll remember
…you'll remember …
(Spike! Where are my notes? What are they supposed to remember about where they came from and why I'm here?!?)

I'm just going to dump a few classics from the old webm thread.
Just because we have a new one going, doesn't mean we should forget the best of the old one.

What is the sauce on that remix? The closest I've found is the dawn of sorrow version, but it's not quite right.

How did you trick the thumbnail generator?
806550 No.228335
>>228320
Looked at infinity code and replaced related frames.
exec("$ffmpeg -strict -2 -ss " . floor($duration / 2) . " -i $filename -v quiet -an -vframes 1 -f mjpeg -vf scale=$width:$height $thumbnailfc 2>&1", $ffmpeg_out, $ret);
This important bit is here, you just need to find out SAR (if you want to be able to use videos with SAR other than 1:1), scale the thumbnail, maybe find it if there's audio and pass some options in the $audio variable…. ffmpeg -i "$file_in" -i "$tmp_thumb" $audio -filter_complex "
[0:v]split=2[vi1][vi2],
[vi1]trim=start_frame=1:end=$thumb_tm,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS[va],
[vi2]trim=start=$thumb_tm,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS[vb],
[1:v]setsar=$sar,split=2[vt1][vt2],
[va][vt1][vt2][vb]concat=n=4:v=1:a=0[vo]" \
-map '[vo]' -c:v mpeg2video -b:v 2000k "$tmp_vid"

That is hella complicated
6b1248 No.228384
>>228360
It's not that hard, once you learn the syntax…. it's basically what you'd do in a NLE, only written down.
ffmpeg -i "$file_in" -i "$tmp_thumb" -filter_complex "
# video file^ thumbnail^ start of filter definition^
[0:v]split=2[vi1][vi2], # duplicate the video into two
[vi1]trim=start_frame=1:end=$thumb_tm,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS[va],
# trim one video to get clip starting at 2nd frame and ending before the thumbnail timestamp, reset frame timestamps
[vi2]trim=start=$thumb_tm,setpts=PTS-STARTPTS[vb],
# trim the other video to start at thumbnail timestamp
[1:v]setsar=$sar,split=2[vt1][vt2],
# set sample outuput rate of the thumbnail to match the video, duplicate it to get 2 frames
#(there should also be scale=$width:$height if image size doesn't match)
[va][vt1][vt2][vb]concat=n=4:v=1:a=0[vo]" \
# concatenate the first half, 2 frames of thumbnail, and the end
# 2 thumbnail frames (and 1 frame being cut off from first half of video) are needed to make the thumbnailer reliably select it
-map '[vo]' -c:v mpeg2video -b:v 2000k "$tmp_vid"
# -map selects stream [vo] the go to output, select codec, bitrate and output filename
