There are conflicting accounts. One story says that JohnJoseco planned on ending the blog and ended up doing just that at the height of, or after, the furor over rape culture that PinkiePony started.

The other story is that, thanks to PinkiePony's efforts, Hasbro caught wind of it sooner rather than later and told him it had to come down. So he did.

There's a downloadable archive of it floating around somewhere. Maybe hosted by JJ or maybe by his fans. Shouldn't be hard to find.
