Lastly, a curious problem with both e621 and 20% is the standards for tagging pictures. Since their users include a lot of obsessive compulsive neurotics, posting any picture less than 40 to 50 tags can get you a warning from a mod for not being OCD enough. Seriously, shit like eye and hair colour is tagged for EVERY SINGLE PICTURE ON THE SITE.
Do not post on either site if you do not want to spend 20 mins writing tags for every single one.
Seriously, that site has the worst community I've ever had the misfortune of taking part in.

You say that like it is a bad thing. That particular feature is what makes that site useful, particularly when you are also browsing an imageboard, because it makes finding specific images extremely quick. If you ever find yourself wanting to post a particular picture that you remember seeing years ago of, say, Rarity making a dress, then all you have to do is type something like "sewing_machine" in the search bar to get a handful of images with a sewing machine in it instead of leafing through the thousands of pictures of Rarity in a dress that are there.
