That's just it. Flurry Heart does not represent a potential shitstorm, as there is no drama left in "new unnecessary alicorn" tank. That shit was already done to far greater effect by Cadence and Twilicorn.
What is there to be curious about? I suppose that it would be interesting to see if they can make goody-two-shoes Diamond Tiara into a useful character. Maybe Rarity and Rainbow Dash will finally leave for their respective careers. Spin-offs would be nice.
Actually, there is one decent potential source for drama, now that I think about it. If they make Starlight Glimmer a main character, there could be some prime butthurt to enjoy. That would be worth sticking around for.

They kinda salvaged the ship with S4 and S5 was pretty decent all around. However I just can't help but wonder how long they can do this for. With all the EQG shit being forced and side bullshit seeping into the show (alicorn babies) I feel like once again the show is ready to fall apart. It is pretty clear they have no intention of "ending" the show, or even coming to a new set of characters. How long can they re-walk the same paths with these characters before everyone just stops caring?
I mean, even now the MLP fandumb is a fragment of it's past, and I don't see it picking up steam anytime soon.

The good stuff in season 3 is just 2 episodes, and one of those is pandering to an insulting degree.
