You have been working hard on breeding those Dracunulus Vulgaris plants for research purposes, and I know you're a herbivore so you may no notice the way it smells when its in bloom the way us omnivores do.
Any plant that is mainly pollinated by carrion flies is going to have a certain "aroma" to it. And anyone working a lot with them is going to smell like them.
And that smell doesn't simply wash out or get drowned out by one of Rarity's perfumes…
