Hey, I had been meaning to look this up, but perhaps someone here just knows. Has any story for FE focus on the Rainbow Falls location?
I was thinking of writing my own story.
Central character is a raider, Seven Sins.
His tribe WAS based in Zapptown, a play on the boomers. An area uncomfortably close to Hellhound territory, and former Zapp Apple plantation. With the magical radiation, the growth cycle for each tree is a few times a day, making picking the completely healthy and abundant fruit a deathtrap.
Story starts making a lot of fun by trying to figure out why raiders do the things they do.
At one point, the main character discovers a Megaspell facility built after the end of the war, using Starswirls Time travel spell to try and send someone back in time to stop the apocolypse. However, since the facility itself only exists because the apocolypse DID happen, every attempt to change something just fails or creates an alternate reality that has nothing to do with the FE timeline. So all the builders went mad eventually and gave up.
This results in the raider simply getting access to the power to save and reload that the player does in a Fallout game.
I wanted to have Rainbow Falls be something of a reference to Paradise Falls.
The main characters partner would be named Big Dipper. More or less a flamboyant pimp that was the major slave trader for the falls. With a penchant for offering slaves and whores actually pretty decent deals for freedom and living conditions because he loves the finer things in life and wants others to be able to appreciate them as well.
